In dieser neuen Umgebung sind etablierte Designer, Newcomer, Hidden Champions und führende Designschulen und -institutionen eingeladen, ihre aktuellsten Arbeiten und Projekte zu präsentieren und untereinander und mit Fachbesuchern aus der Designindustrie und designaffinen Verbrauchern in einen intensiven Dialog einzutauchen. Wir sind überzeugt, daß es dieses Experimentierfeld braucht, um die wirklichen Innovationen im Designfeld aufzuspüren. WHAT STATE OF DESIGN ESSENTIALLY IS
In its search for new ways to present design, state of DESIGN freely mixes existing formats, such as that of a fair, showroom, museum, gallery, conference, get together, party and shop. Doing away with the limitations of a fair stand, for instance, all works will be presented as a carefully curated whole. And animated by a program of daily talks, the editions will debate aspects of what the next generation design might be. And while the latter is a novelty, big player, newcomer, hidden champions and leading design schools are invited to present their latest work and projects and to join an intensive dialog—speaking on terms with the design industry and design-loving consumers. We are convinced that this "Experimentierfeld" is needed to to explore the real innovations in the design industry.

Here selected but also and present products in small series, special editions or new creations. While we set our focus on interior design objects, participants from other design disciplines are more than welcome to showcase their work during DESIGN POOL, too.

", initiated by Mirko Ilić, as well as ten works by nicoleta_berlin_art will go under the gavel for the benefit of state of DESIGN e.V..🔔🔨 As part of this year's BERLIN DESIGN WEEK in early June - initiated by state of DESIGN - the TOLERANCE POSTER PROJECT was presented for the first time in the capital at LIVING Berlin. Now the art prints created by renowned international designers and illustrators - two motifs each DIN A0 on hard foam boards - can be purchased: The non-profit association state of DESIGN will use the proceeds to enable further exhibitions and projects on the topic of inclusion and tolerance for the upcoming BNDNWK 2022.
