Martin is finally back for commercial work. Where has he been? Well, he was very busy, I mean very very busy...

Martin just finished a new LUTHER movie with Idris Elba for Netflix directed by Jamie Payne, shot in London. The previous Luther event was one of Netflix's most successful movies ever and we are very optimistic to top this result as LUTHER comes back to his roots, a bit darker, more real.

Martin's work on the Depeche Mode video for People Are Good directed by Rich Hall won a lot of awards in the UK and Brasil, his VW commercial won the highest honours in Turkish commercials, including best cinematography.

And then he also was the lead dop on the second season of The Agency. The series was shot in London, Morocco and Kenya (Martin lensing the Kenyan parts for all the episodes). The cast is still as good as it gets with Michael Fassbender, Jodie Turner-Smith, Richard Gere and Jeffrey Wright.

Great news for Florian. He will receive the Marburg Camera Award for his body of work, his versatility and the creative footprint he already has left in the film world.

The event will take place in Marburg from May 15th and it will be surrounded by screenings and presentations of some of his work including Q&As with Florian. So in case you are around...

Also more good news. Florian will be back for work from mid May. He just finished his latest movie starring Brad Pitt and directed by Ed Berger.

The German Film Academy have announced their nominations for this year's German Film Awards. AMRUM, Fatih Akin's latest film, received six nods by the Academy and is one of the biggest winners.

Why is this big news to us? Karl Walter lensed this film with exceptional sensuality and sensibility. His work was mentioned in many reviews and also was nominated for the ASC Spotlight Awards earlier this year.

It was Karl Walter's first German film in a long time. He made himself a name on many big Hollywood productions. So it was a big surprise when Fatih invited him to the project. His work elevated the storytelling, Fatih and Karl Walter became a dream team. We love the film and are keeping our fingers crossed.

What's our biggest treasure?

It must be the young children around us. To listen to their dreams and ideas is giving them wings and confidence.

Joakim made this film as a reminder to all the potential there is from these wonderful minds and how important it is to listen to them and take every child serious. Rather than pressing them into plans and schedules. For the best for all of us. This one is a reminder and meant as an inspiration to rethink the support of children in Germany.

It really touched our soul.

Are you tired of the snow and cold weather by now?
Berlin has been terrible. But it could be far worse! Image hundreds of snowmen coming to attack and take over your city. Markus Walter shot this super funny commercial for Nissan in Toronto.

It was produced by Reset Content for the US market. We laughed a lot seeing this. And the winter over here did not feel that bad anymore.

GESCHENKT is a trailer for Maurus' new movie. At least that's what I thought when we saw this first. It is soooo much fun to see the famous Erdmännchen (meerkats) from the books created by Moritz Matthies in action.

A new book was published in October, a creative team of author, writers, a producer and Maurus got together and started talking. A storyline was plotted, ideas pitched, characters built and the work started. The result is a soulful film in best Pixar tradition and one of the most exciting things about it... this is all created in AI. What an achievement and a statement for AI being one of the most exciting tool sets to create with.

We would love to see that film but it's a only commercial for the book. For now.

This is a special one. You all know how carefully we select talent for our portfolio. Today we want to introduce three super-talented, very different creatives who got us all excited. We have two exciting new directors and a young dop.

First up there is Dimitri Tsvetkov, who started as a creator, still creates concepts for content and knows how to make unique films. He can do it all and with his background he's up for every challenge.

Thomas Leisten Schneider is a new master in visual comedy in commercials, a craftsman who loves the work with actors and diving into storytelling. Thomas started his career in Canada before moving to Europe.

And then there is Adrian Langenbach, the latest addition to our dop roster, his work is so strong and fresh, his vision is clear and he is great fun to work with. He is great with cars and finds fresh angles in all his work.

We could not be more proud and are so happy to welcome you.

"American Sweatshop", Jörg's latest feature film is hitting cinemas on August 29th in the US.

Produced amongst others by the legendary Barry Levinson and directed by Uta Briesewitz (who earned her reputation directing on "Severance", "The Old Man" and "Black Mirror", she was Emmy nominated) this thriller will stay with you long after viewing.

A social media moderator believes to have seen a video containing a crime and gets involved. That changes her life and exposes her to a dark world. Lili Reinhart delivers a supreme performance the press is raving about.

Vincent Eckert is causing waves: his new film called Femisphere is beautiful, touching and very powerful. It raises awareness about domestic violence against women and children. And it does so in a poetic and touching way which we have rarely ever seen.

Directed by Florian Reittner it highlights why we think that Vincent is one of the most exciting talents at the camera these days.

His work is stunning and has been already recognised with multiple awards.

Renowned filmmaker Fatih Akin's new film was celebrated in this year's Cannes Festival. AMRUM based on Hark Bohm's very personal past is a coming of age story on the island in the Northern Sea at the end of WW 2.

It was lensed by Karl Walter and marks his first German feature film in a long time. He loved the experience and the press loves the result.

"The film is beautifully shot, delicately shaded and at times almost unbearably poignant" writes The Wrap.
