Logo Design for 25/26

We based the logo on the “Volksbühne” lettering on the building’s façade, in use since the theatre’s reopening in the 1950s.

By giving “Am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz” equal prominence, we foreground the theatre’s location and its political context.

The V is taken directly from the custom typeface we’ve developed for Volksbühne and used as a logo mark for specific applications, including the flag and smaller formats.

We are extremely honoured to have been chosen to create the visual identity for Volksbühne for the 2025/26 season. It has been a pleasure to work with and for such an iconic institution.
