Food series : collages are super intuitive and show ourselves our subconscious. Of course I am reflecting and feminist , but as a person grown up in a patriarchal culture I also have inherited a lot from that . I am trying to build it up and to deconstruct. But this and the previous collage show me super direct my hidden associations : luxury food and a top model vs piece of bread and Brocken mannequin . Beauty is luxury . But can we get satisfied only by watching a delicious body ? What is with the warm hug ? Affection ? Intellectual connection ? Or just feeling grounded and understood and accepted by someone? Nothing serious , just trying to paint under field conditions , with the water brush , that’s not working and 20 dogs playing around me . But the message is clear: I feel watched and that blocks me . My body is just my body is just my body .
