As you might have noticed, Bruno A is one half of the MK duo 🙂During the pandemic he created and ambitious & diverse new solo album for Inc., recorded, mixed & mastered at MK. Open Call:

Hello everyone!

Hope you all are safe and healthy. It’s been a rough year for the entire planet and as most of us have experienced, life in the music industry has been tough as well.

It’s been a difficult period for us too with lots of down time. In trying to turn that into a positive, both of us finished producing our own albums. But now that those projects are finalised, we still have more time on our hands. Which is why we’re reaching out to you 🙂

Starting from February, we want to try and help out by offering free studio time to musicians in Berlin once a month. This would include one full day (8 hours) for recording/producing a song. We would mix and master the song as well. We are also planning to film this process to share on social media.

What do you get out of this:
- 8 free hours of recording/production time
- Free mix and master for your song that you can release

What do we get out of this:
- Video content for our social media platforms and Patreon page
- Getting to work on new music, meeting some cool people and having something to do with all this time on our hands 🙂

For now we will be working with solo artists due to COVID restrictions and safety protocols. But we will open this opportunity up to duos and bands once the lockdown ends.

Wishing every one out there a very merry Xmas/Holiday season of sorts and may 2021 bring us back more liberty and social contact. Much music was made and produced during the lockdown - both of us with brand new solo albums included - and it would be a pleasure to record & produce some of what you and/or your musician mates have created.

MK recently had the honour of this feature by German TV channel DW Deutsche Welle: a beautifully shot report on Usama Siddiq.

Aside from all the cool images of Berlin, you‘ll get to see a lot of the area around the studio and, of course, inside it, where both studio owners were joined by 2 other musician-mates and engaged on an all-guitar jam specially for the purpose. Also, the soundtrack includes some of the music the MK duo has created there together for the Production Libraries. Enjoy!
