Release Day ❤️
I rarely get sentimental about releasing my music to the public, but this time it feels different. Archipelago Files was created slowly over the past year and a half — a process of making sure I stayed true to myself through composing, mixing, and mastering.
It’s got its flaws and maybe even a few dull moments, but that’s part of the story. It makes the whole listening experience feel real when you press play at 00:00 and finish 35 minutes later.
I know it’s a lot to ask to listen to an album straight through these days, but that’s how this one was meant to be heard.
That said, I actually really like these tracks. Usually, by the time I’m done with a project, I’m already tired of it — sometimes even embarrassed to release it. But here we are. The cat’s out of the sack, and it’s time to move on to Archipelago Files II, coming in 2026.
