We are officially contributing authors in our first book collaboration and we won’t shy away from sharing how proud and grateful we are. 🤍

Never, not for a minute we thought we would be talking about our experiences and our dreams for regenerative filmmaking through a book when we made our first solar-powered short-film… yet here we are, with warm hearts and wide smiles, so we wanna share it with you. 😊

In our contribution to this book, besides sharing what we’ve done so far, we also share what we aim to do, and finish our chapter by guiding you on an exercise of imagination to the future of filmmaking, beyond AI, and beyond the ambitions of an ever hungry industry, we think of filmmaking as a tool for connection, as a form of collective making, as perhaps a training ground for collaboration, to co-create the communities and futures in which we wanna thrive in… we look so forward to see you there. 🌱

🌞 FUTUROS LUMINOSOS es un micrófono abierto, solar y colectivo para la co-creación de futuros regenerativos a través de la imaginación y las expresiones del corazón.
Todxs son bienvenidxs a participar — ya sea desde la música, la poesía, las ciencias, sus emprendimientos, ideas o sueños para el futuro. Desde poemas de ciencia ficción hasta sentires sobre la utopía, cada voz es una semilla de cambio.

💫 Estás invitadx a compartir una pieza de 1 a 10 minutos, preparada o improvisada, basada en el optimismo, la empatía, la colaboración, la justicia climática y social, o cualquier sueño de un futuro esperanzador que quieras plantar. Desde una oda a un tren propulsado por algas, hasta una historia de amor bajo árboles bioluminiscentes; una canción inspirada en huertos comunitarios que tocan las nubes, o un párrafo sobre dónde estabas cuando la humanidad hizo el voto unánime de sanar la Tierra y a sí misma.

✨ Qué traer:
• Una pieza para compartir (o simplemente tus oídos y tu corazón)
• Tus propias bebidas y snacks
• Almohadas y mantitas para cuando caiga el sol
• Una planta de compañía — opcional — si quieres escuchar su música con nosotrxs ;) 🌿🎶

🌞 OPEN FUTURES: A SOLARPUNK OPEN MIC (Online Edition) 🌱

We’re opening the portal again — this time from everywhere…
And from a place we wish existed already: Commando Jugendstil’s Floating Village — an old oil rig reborn as a solarpunk haven; Food growing on sunlit terraces, homes nestled in former steel bones, and maybe — just beneath the waves — a regenerative aquaculture project quietly reforesting the ocean.
A reminder that even the ruins of the fossil world can leave space for life to bloom.

Join us for the 2nd International Online Edition of our solarpunk open mic, where stories grow like gardens and imagination becomes collective action! Musicians, poets, researchers, dreamers, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, storytellers, visual artists, and anyone imagining kinder tomorrows — this is your space.

We gather to dream better, imagine louder, and tell stories that grow like gardens.
Join us for the 1st international online edition of our solarpunk open mic — a space for musicians, poets, storytellers, performers, dreamers, and creators of all kinds to share visions of regenerative, hopeful futures.

Who is behind Fën? 🌞
Although we consider ourselves a collective constantly growing and evolving, the first seed was planted by two filmmaker brothers. 🤲🏽

Fën is an ecological film collective dedicated to producing sustainable audiovisual content using practices such as renewable energies, zero-waste, food sovereignty, climate-positive narratives, eco-affectivity, and activism, among others. ✨
