In 2003 I came back from San Francisco with the idea for a european Folsom event.
After Jürgen Rentzel and I came up with a concept and founded the club with five other guys I served the team and board from 2003 to 2010.
In 2020 I was asked to return to the team and I had four more fantastic years, the last two ones in the board again.
Me and my team have set-up 10 streetsfairs (very early in the morning) during the last 20 years. I had the honor to work with hundreds of outstanding volunteers and several board members in our club.
I saw around a quarter million visitors during the last 20 years and always had a blast. Our Covd edition in 2021 was the most special one and made me very proud as we were the first street fair in Berlin in 18 months helping all of us to come back to a normal life.
Yesterday I stopped serving the board. We have a fantastic new board, all of them have been very active in our team in the past. Jens even as a board member.
So I am more than happy that we were able to hand over our baby to the next generation. A great one for sure!
I will remain in the club, will (of course) volunteer in 2024 and will also be in charge of the contacts to the international leather and fe**sh community.
But I will be off the big stage now.
