2025...
what can I say?
I’m a bit scared to say or think that the years go by and look pretty much alike, and that I no longer remember how many years have passed since I started with L’Esquisse. 🤭
Because deep down, each year is unique and made up of unique moments that I try to engrave precisely in my mind, to keep a little bit of magic from the moments spent with you. ✨
This year, again, you created wonders. I have been moved so many times by your work, and I have hoped so many times that you could see the power of what you draw and paint, and that it would make you feel stronger than anything else, give you enough energy and confidence to move mountains in your everyday life.
That it would make you think, “No, it’s not easy every day, but I am full of talent.”
The world is not an easy place to live I heard, but it is also full of beauty and joy, and in this caring bubble full of color and creativity that we create together, I hope you feel that I dedicate my days to offer you a little time for yourself, a little bit of poetry, a break from the mad rush that our lives can sometimes be.
For all those shared moments, as always, I say thank you so so much ❤️

Last week, for the first time since what felt like an eternity, the teacher has been taught 🥰🎨
What an amazing feeling to be back to learning, discovering the magic of oil painting, in amazing company and under the so generous eye of , one of the most talented artist I ever met and definately the most dedicated and generous one. ❤️
Florence and have been an immense support in so many ways over the past years and I wish you all to have such extraordinary people like them in your life.
Sometimes, all you need is to hear the right words or to catch the right look and your life can change for the better in a second.
Sometimes here’s the message of the night: never stop growing, and surrounded yourself by people who inspire you. 🙏🏼✨

They feel, they graze, they dance, they play, they condemn, they touch, they try, they tell stories that words cannot translate.
They learn, master techniques, materials and gestures.
They reassure, embrace, chase sadness from our eyes, they sustain us, they surpass us, they protect us.
They get dirty, they twist, adapt, shade, fight with canvas and colors before embracing them, and often, they know much better than we do, what needs to be done.
They are beautiful, and they are a gift, so go, and use them well ✍🏻🫶🏽🫱🏼‍🫲🏿✊🏾🤘🏼🙏🏾❤️

This is it 🙏🏼
Yesterday was the very last day of this 3rd week of summer holiday workshops☀️🎨
I wasn’t sure if I could make it till the end 🤪 but let’s be honest here, I had the chance to work with la crème de la crème and what all those wonderful little artists did during those 15 days is just… waouh 🥹.
And it was not just about making art. We shared some very special moments, had deep and beautiful talks, were tired and excited together. We even had some tears - not the first time tho - because drawing might be a fight with ourselves sometimes, but how nice is it to face all that, to learn from it, and to move forward together 🧡
I am so blessed 🙏🏼and therefore very happy to share with you some impressions of it ☀️

Did I tell you already
That I love my job?
I guess I did 🤭
- Not that much the part with days (and nights) doing accounting tho, or the part of the never ending fights with the Hausverwaltung or the Steuerberater (who forgot about the « berater » side) -
But the other part of it. The real part of it. Where I feel so moved observing beautiful people around me doing incredible things.
Evenings like tonight could last for ever, I would be blessed 🧡
