Gaswerk Music Days x Refuge Worldwide Friday, 12th June 16:00 - 17:00 with Halosaur &
 Signals from Gaswerk Music Days  Leading up to Gaswerk Music Days festival, this ongoing series on Refuge Worldwide introduces selected artists frohm the festival lineup alongside voices connected to the residencies hosted at Gaswerk. Returning in summer 2026 for its fourth edition, the festival unfolds across two weekends with six days of concerts and special formats dedicated to Radical Live Music, bringing together experimental electronics, African sounds, dub, avant-pop, kraut, improvisation, noise, jazz, and dance music.

For this episode, festival co-director Letizia Trussi (aka Elle Kai) welcomes Halosaur ahead of his July 24 live modular performance at Gaswerk Music Days.
Through the invited artists’ music and Halosaur’s original productions, the show traces the atmosphere of MODULA, a festival day entirely devoted to live modular sound, bringing together established international artists and members of the Gaswerksiedlung community. MODULA understands synthesis as performance, circuitry as dialogue, and modular systems as instruments of intuition and open-ended experimentation

MOTHER DRUM explores rhythm as a generative force of connection and transformation. Artists from the Nyege Nyege ecosystem and the Gaswerk residency program converge through Singeli, percussion, dance and live experimentation. New collaborations, premieres and the Radical Music Lab create a dense web of exchange, movement and collective energy.

LA CURA BERLIN live at Gaswerk Music Concerts  21.05.2026 / 20:00 / .berlin / / .music.days   La Cura first came together in April 2021 during an event in solidarity with the national strike and the popular demonstrations that took place in Colombia. Out of this political and cultural moment, the band was formed in Berlin and has since continued to bring its vibrant sound to stages across the city.
 La Cura is a call of the earth - a musical journey through the roots and traditions of Colombia. The band blends rhythms from the Colombian Caribbean such as cumbia, fandango, chalupa, porro, and tambora, creating a powerful and lively soundscape. Driven by the beating of drums, the melodies of voices, and the vibrant sound of winds, their music invites the audience to move.
 La Cura transmits pure joy and collective energy, infecting the crowd with rhythm and dance and celebrating the spirit of Colombian musical traditions.
