limited edition prints whitegrid ist eine neue Galerie für Drucke in limitierter Auflage. Jeder Druck ist ein Unikat und existiert so nur ein einziges Mal.

Unser Portfolio umfasst Artworks aus den Bereichen Illustration, Grafik und Typografie, die mit Hilfe von Drucktechniken wie Siebdruck, Risografie und Linoldruck umgesetzt werden. Alle Drucke unserer Kollektion sind von Hand gefertigte und im Rahmen einer Edition produzierte Originale. Jedes einzelne Blatt wird separat bedruckt und vom Künstler individuell signiert. Durch diesen Prozess entstehen

Kunstwerke, die den Charme von in Serie gefertigten Originaldrucken besitzen. Wir wollen unsere Begeisterung und Leidenschaft für ausdrucksstarke und originelle Drucke nutzen, um mit whitegrid gallery hochwertige handgefertigte Editionen auszustellen und zu zeigen, wie aktuell klassische Drucktechniken auch heute noch sind. Deshalb haben wir uns dazu entschieden, mit whitegrid gallery eine neue Plattform für Druckkunst in Berlin aufzubauen, die junge und bereits etablierte Künstlern versammelt. Unser Ziel ist es, ihre Drucke zu einer Ausstellung zusammenzufassen, die Druckkunst in ihrer technischen und ästhetischen Vielfalt zeigen und gleichzeitig durch ihre Geschlossenheit in Sachen Anspruch und Relevanz überzeugt. whitegrid öffnet zunächst online und ist in der zweiten Jahreshälfte auch vor Ort in Berlin-Kreuzberg vertreten. Mit der Eröffnung des Galerieraumes stehen uns noch einmal zusätzliche Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Er bietet in einer Sammelausstellung einen repräsentativen Überblick über das gesamte Angebot mit viel Raum zum Erkunden und Entdecken. Die Ausstellung zudem wird durch regelmäßige Vernissagen, Events zum Thema Drucken und anderen Veranstaltungen ergänzt und so zu einem lebendigen Ort für Austausch und Inspiration. Wir legen dabei Wert auf eine offene und kreative Atmosphäre, denn Kunst soll für jedermann zugänglich und verfügbar sein.

whitegrid gallery is delighted to invite you to Roman Klonek’s solo exhibition, PULP INK PARADE. The exhibition opens on Friday, 5 June 2026, at 6 pm and presents new works and a selection of the artist’s earlier pieces.

Roman Klonek is one of the leading figures in contemporary woodcut art in Germany. For over 20 years, he has been developing his distinctive visual language through the medium of woodcut, demonstrating its relevance as a contemporary art form. Klonek is particularly renowned for the lost-cut technique, in which all colours are printed using a single printing plate. After each colour is applied, the plate is further processed and reprinted until the individual layers of colour combine to form the finished image.

Klonek’s works open up a world situated between grotesque humour, folklore, pop culture and Eastern European animation aesthetics. In vibrant colours, bizarre hybrid creatures combining human and animal forms populate dreamlike scenarios full of absurdity, excitement and narrative ambiguity. Influenced by the visual languages of Eastern European cartoons, comics and manga, the resulting compositions appear like stills from a film never before seen.

PULP INK PARADE invites you to follow these gripping visual narratives, to lose yourself in the details and to discover ever-new stories amid bizarre moments, hidden clues and atmospheric shifts.

NO : SPORTS at whitegrid gallery

The NO : BOOKS Collective enters its third round and celebrates the launch of its new linocut book. Under the theme NO : SPORTS, 13 artists have created 48 pages of pure linocut energy.

The new artist book NO : SPORTS can be purchased alongside the exhibition or online at www.nobooks.org.

Alongside the publication, selected works are on display at whitegrid gallery until Sunday 5 pm.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Heute von 15–18 Uhr lädt die whitegrid gallery herzlich zur Finissage der Ausstellung VORDERE MITTE ein. Zu sehen sind abstrakte Siebdruckarbeiten zwischen Textilkunst, Malerei und Druckgrafik. Außerdem gibt die Künstlerin Andrea von Reimersdahl in einer kleinen Live Drucksession Einblicke in ihre Technik und ihren kreativen Prozess. Wer mag, darf sich auch selbst ausprobieren.

Today from 3 pm to 6 pm, whitegrid gallery cordially invites you to the closing event of the exhibition VORDERE MITTE. On display are abstract screen prints that blend textile art, painting and printmaking. In addition, the artist Andrea von Reimersdahl will be offering a glimpse into her technique and creative process during a short live printing session. Anyone who’d like to is welcome to have a go themselves.

whitegrid gallery is pleased to present VORDERE MITTE, a solo exhibition by Andrea van Reimersdahl, opening on Thursday, 23 April 2026, from 5–9 pm.

The exhibition title borrows a German term from tailoring: VORDERE MITTE, the ‘center front’, is a marking line on a pattern along which the pattern can be mirrored. In van Reimersdahl’s artistic process, however, this axis is not fixed but shifted, dissolved, and renegotiated.

Drawing on a practice deeply rooted in textiles biographically and materially, van Reimersdahl creates works whose abstract, organic formal language develops from drawing. Textiles appear not as mere material but as sensually charged vessels of memory: personal, familial and collective.

Today, whitegrid gallery had the opportunity to visit Pracownia Wschodnia in Warsaw and meet with several artists to deepen and strengthen ongoing collaboration.

This face-to-face exchange has shown once again just how important physical encounters are in the art world – conversations, perspectives and shared ideas simply cannot be replaced by digital means.

Als Galerie ausschließlich für Druckkunst feiert whitegrid gallery den TAG DER DRUCKKUNST natürlich gehörig mit: Am 15. März führt der Künstler Philipp Angermaier Interessierte in zwei Workshops in die traditionsreiche Technik des Holzschnitts ein.

Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Alle Materialien werden bereitgestellt. Da die Teilnehmerzahl auf 4 Personen pro Workshop begrenzt ist, wird um Anmeldung per E-Mail an [email protected] gebeten.

Kurs I: 13-15 Uhr (max. 4 Personen)
Kurs II: 15-17 Uhr (max. 4 Personen)

Während der beiden Veranstaltungen bleibt die Galerie geöffnet und lädt alle Besucher*innen dazu ein, Ausdrucksformen zeitgenössischer Druckgrafik zu entdecken.
