Located in Berlin's Neukölln Rixdorf is especially focused on contemporary art and illustration. In October of 2012, Bárbara Fonseca and Natalia Blanco met and started a spontaneous affair. A courtship that beganwithout any expectations, and grew slowly without really knowing where to go. Bootsbau made them start a path together that has led them through the fields of contemporary art, documentary
and illustration... Step by step, this project that began without any direction, started to take shape and became a way of life, a mechanism used to communicate with the world and to give answers to their questions. Focused on contemporary art and illustration, the project is open to new proposals and new ways of expression.
