This upcoming Sunday, February 16, at HAU1 as a part of Berlinale Talents, Diana El Jeiroudi and Orwa Nyrabia reflect on their journey as filmmakers and creative partners in an open and candid conversation, sharing insights into their projects both internationally and regionally. They discuss their introspective and evolving sense of space and belonging, as well as the intersection of the personal and the political in cinema. They also explore their 2021 film, Republic of Silence, a deeply personal cinematic memoir and a layered meditation on the dimensions of exile.
