Last year members of MuAk met master KIM Gab- Yong shortly for learning Jijeon Chum (of KIM Jin-Hong school) of Donghaean Ogu Gut.
This year he came with the Art company Bomi and they supporte us not only with presenting this acknowledged spiritual dance on stage, but doing the make up and hair of us all backstage!!

We will never be able to give back the value of such valuable gift but we promise to share this overwhelming impression as much as we can.

welcomed and introduced to the theatre and staff of National Gugak Center Busan.
It is such an honor to be on the stage of this national theatre house for Gugak. This kind and professional support is such a blessing and we will never forget, how appreciated we are just because we share their love for the traditional arts.

Our deepest thanks to the director and the artist director, as well the technician team and all the staff of the .gugak2008 for this invitation and endless support.

And we can't say enough thank you to 예원이모 our silent but strongest support since we encountered her way to make us feel comfortable in costume and all daily circumstances and needs while being focused to perform. Her philosophy and love is navigating us through all this.

At Incheon airport we gathered together to welcome our members arriving for the tour.

Surprisingly members from Seoul who visited us four years ago in Berlin to participate at the in Berlin came to the airport to greet us and welcome all of us as support.

This was more then touching.
We are thankful and so blessed for this friendship and love of Uri Chum Gonggan Ami 🥰💗💖💯🤲

8 – 진도북춤 JINDO-TROMMELTANZ
Dynamischer Tanz aus Jindo, bei dem kunstvolle
Bewegungen mit dem kraftvollen Rhythmus der
Trommel verschmelzen.

MuAk Im_Puls koreanischer
Meisterkünstler:innen

August 17, 2025, ufaFabrik Open-Air Stage, 7 p.m.,
Admission: €20, Concessions: €16 (Tickets in bio,
online fees apply)

Doors open at 6 p.m., start at 7 p.m.

Four dancers and musicians from South Korea, known
as "Myeong-In," who carry Korean dance and music
traditions and perpetuate this "living cultural heritage,"
will set the tone for the Berlin performance ensemble
MuAk with their performance this evening.

The event will explore the artistic horizons of this art
form, tracing its development and presence in the
diaspora—including in our context here in Germany,
where the German-Korean community has been
cultivating the transmission of traditional Korean art
across several generations for more than 50 years.
MuAk takes up this impulse from these master artists to
take the audience on this journey into the past,
present, and future.
