ANASA e.V. präsentiert „Kleine Zellen, Große Gemeinschaft“ beim in Karlsruhe! ✨

Mit 14 Kindern haben der Akrobat Kritonas Anastasopoulos und die Tänzerin Maja Zimmerlin in nur drei Tagen ein Stück entwickelt – voller Bewegung, Akrobatik, Musik und gemeinsamer Entdeckung.

Begleitet von the one and only Schroeder am Schlagzeug! 🥁

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an das ATOLL Festival für die tolle Organisation und die Möglichkeit, dieses Projekt mit den Kindern auf die Bühne zu bringen!

ANASA e.V. presents “Small Cells, Big Community” at the ATOLL Festival in Karlsruhe!

Together with 14 children, acrobat Kritonas Anastasopoulos and dancer Maja Zimmerlin created a piece in just three days – full of movement, acrobatics, music and shared discovery.

Accompanied by the one and only Schroeder on drums! 🥁

A huge thank you to ATOLL Festival for the wonderful organisation and for giving us the opportunity to bring this project to the stage with the children!

How to come from singular to many?

With 21 kids we experienced community and learned how we can support eachother.

During the 5 days we overcame fears, built trust, climbed on wood and bodies, jumped from high and low, felt our bodies near and far.

The result was stunning and most touching! A 15min performance by 21 kids between 5 and 6 years old.

It was a true honour to create with those young people and see how they grow day by day.

As a choreographer and mother of three I couldn't be more fulfilled and dedicated to bring this project further!

For years, I thought I had to choose. 🤔

Being the artist OR the mother.

When I was dancing or choreographing, I left the “mother in me” behind.

When I was with my kids, I abandoned the “artist in me”.

It was exhausting.

But learning to allow ALL my identities in EVERY moment? That brought me immense relief. It brought joy back into my days and clarity on how to build my career as a freelance artist. 🌿✨

You don’t have to split yourself to succeed.

I help dance filmmakers and artists embody their full identities, moving out of struggle and overwhelm through a clear, step-by-step path.

Where sketches meet movement: The journey begins! 🪓📐💃

We are getting ready to launch our new participative project: SMALL CELLS – BIG COMMUNITY.

The choreography and acrobatics are taking their first shapes in our notebooks.

And the sketches by coming to life:

At this very moment the actual scenography is being built with sawdust and tools!

The soul of the project is already here: In the collaboration, in the ideas, in the joy of preparation. 🌱

It’s all leading to one goal: A mobile stage for kids to climb, to hide, to grow. A space to experience:

„I am good exactly the way I am, and I am part of a community.“ ✨

When I was struggling as a kids my dad always used to tell me a wisdom, that i keep dear to my heart until today.

Life is hard. BUT COLORFUL 🌈

I am a mom of three kids and freelance choreographer

You know what?! Life is hard!!! Yes i am struggling too.

But 6 years ago i started to shifted, step by step:

To put my BOUNDERIES

Know my VALUES

AND STOPP DOING IT ALL BY MYSELF.

Invest in help, accept help .

And it made me see and live those colors again 🩵💙💛🩷❤️

I was 24. Pregnant. And told: “As an artist, you must first build your career. Once you’re successful, you can have a family.”

I didn’t listen. I figured out my own way.

Today, I have 3 kids, 3 award-winning dance films, am creating for my new live creation CELLULA and have a life I love. Because I learned: You don’t have to choose between family and your dream. You just have to build a path that fits you.

If you’re told to wait until you’re “ready” or “successful” to start your life: Stop waiting. Start now. Step by step. This is how you climb a mountain, this is how you build a life you love.
