Dear Evan Hansen is a show wherein a lot of the action takes place online, across virtual landscapes, with technology practically serving as a character in its own right.

as a concept grows to unimaginable levels of popularity... which is both good and bad news for our protagonist. Voices from all over the world contribute to the cause, and YOU have the chance for yours to be one of them 🗣️

We are thrilled to confirm that, like all of Encore’s previous full musical productions, Dear Evan Hansen will feature a live band! We are so excited to get started but we still have to fill a couple of spots before we can kick things off.

Today is going to be a good day, and here's why...

Following the announcement about our upcoming spring concert, Musicals by the Book, we at Encore are beyond excited to also be bringing the contemporary powerhouse that is Dear Evan Hansen to the Berlin stage this summer! 💙

🔹DEAR EVAN HANSEN 🤳

An isolated and socially anxious teenager yearning to belong somewhere, Evan Hansen finds himself suddenly thrust into the spotlight when a letter he wrote, addressed to himself, is found in the possession of a fellow student who recently died by su***de. As a well-intentioned lie snowballs into something much bigger than himself, Evan becomes entangled in an ever-changing narrative that is simultaneously being broadcast across social media - technology acting as a central, driving force throughout this story and inviting us to examine our interpretation of reality.

Winning a whopping SIX in 2017, serving as a vehicle for the career launches of stars such as and , and including musical theatre stalwarts like 'Waving Through a Window' and 'You Will Be Found', you're gonna want to catch Encore's most ambitious show to date at the this July 🩵
