Ion Ludwig has spent nearly two decades refining a singular voice in stripped down house and techno. A producer since his teens, shaped as much by his musicianship and global travels as by formative years between Amsterdam and Berlin, where the likes of Club der Visionaere became key testing grounds, Ludwig has built a reputation for intricate, deeply textured productions released on revered underground imprints like Baby Ford’s Trelik, Meander and of course his own Quagmire LTD and Ugold Series.

Houz is a Tunisian electronic music producer working at the intersection of deep house, ambient, and understated techno. His approach is rooted in atmosphere and emotional clarity, favouring warm textures, spacious arrangements, and minimalist rhythmic structures. Rather than relying on overt peaks, Houz builds slow-burning narratives that unfold with patience, focusing on groove, space, and subtle melodic development. His music is designed to create intimate listening environments, whether experienced privately or within the quiet tension of a dancefloor.

“For me, music started as a way to deal with my own emotions. I didn’t expect anything from it at first – it was just something I needed to do.

Over time, people started connecting with it, and that’s what made me take it more seriously. Not in a commercial way, but as something that could exist beyond just myself.

I still see it as a way to understand what’s going on inside me. The sound shifts depending on where I’m at – sometimes more ethereal, sometimes darker.

I’m still figuring things out. A lot of it is experimentation, process, not locking into one identity.

I don’t really see it as me making music. It’s more like something that exists through sound and feeling.

I don’t feel like I’m in charge of it.”🫧
