Sova Magazine is an independent photography, fashion and art magazine featuring emerging and established artists with an array of divisive, hedonistic and intimate points of view. Underlining contemporary discourse, every issue is dedicated to the direct exploration of a decisive topic, showcasing divergent narratives, empathies and their refractions. Sova focuses on new entities and future tendencies in photography, art, lifestyle, fashion and culture. With its direct approach, Sova concentrates on the immediate confrontation with matters of the now. It is a space for exploration and positions that have not yet been optimised. Taking an experimental and interdisciplinary approach to overcome satiation and devaluation, Sova continually seeks to enforce proximity between subject, medium and matter. Sova was founded in 2010 by Martin Petersen in Malmö, Sweden, and is currently based in Berlin.
