CRAMA is pleased to present recent works by the Berlin based artist Lars Plessentin (b.1985). Plessentin’s work has photography as a starting point but focuses on the material aspect of it and takes often the form of collages. In his recent work, the collages have started taken a more three-dimensional character, having added materials on them such as fluorescent Perspex pats or artist’s frames. The obscure photographic imagery and the added elements give the feeling of a narrative that always remains incomplete or somehow does not allow itself to be fully seen. A narrative rather undisclosed or one that seems to have along the way embarked on a different journey.
