Eat’n’Critique — new block starting 2026 🌱🍲💬
As this year comes to a close, we’re opening a new cycle of Eat’n’Critique, starting at the beginning of 2026. 
Eat’n’Critique is an informal, supportive format where artists and cultural practitioners come together to share work, thoughts, doubts, and questions. We welcome works-in-progress, research presentations, stalled projects, conceptual knots, installation ideas, or simply a moment of reflection that needs outside eyes.

Each evening begins with a communal dinner at 7pm, followed by the critique session starting at 8pm. Usually there are 2–3 presentations per night, with time for conversation, questions, and collective thinking.
Beyond feedback, the core idea of Eat’n’Critique is to build a consistent group, takes care of the format together, and practices forms of supportive, non-competitive critique. We’re interested in resonance rather than evaluation, and in experimenting with different ways of presenting and responding to artistic work (some tools for Reflexion will be offered and further developed).

Background: Founded in 2022, Eat’n’Critique has grown as a space where shared food and shared thinking go hand in hand. The program runs in time-limited blocks, allowing each group to form its own rhythm and trust over a few months, before opening again.

This Sunday MoMo Sauna and SweatX Sauna will fire up their stoves again 🔥
Come by for sauna time, cozy wood-stove vibes, and to enjoy autumn together. In the morning there’ll be croissants and coffee etc. and in the evening there’ll be soup. The address is, as always, Papierstr. 11. and the saunas will be hot from 10:30 until 21:00.

Pssst - for everyone who loves going to the sauna with only a few people around: come by in the morning, it has a really special atmosphere ✨

It will be the third last Sauna Sunday at Make-up. From December on the sauna will move to Falkenberg in Brandenburg. Here will will invite you all to leave big city life behind for an afternoon and enjoy the quietness of the winter countryside in the sauna. More infos coming soon - stay tuned 💫

Our next event (Soli Party) this Saturday will try to make things a little easier for us and to settle/beat the debt (credit). Many have put a lot of strength and love into this place and sometimes we forget to celebrate the now in all the doing. So please come to support us and celebrate this space with us.
