The exhibition Energie Contemporanee, curated by Spazio Taverna , investigates the theme of energy through the works of seventeen Italian artists of the new generation, called to interpret the relation between art and the world of industry and technology.

With Energie Contemporanee starts Arte al Gazometro, project promoted by that aims to promote culture in an innovative context, in close relationship with the host site. The exhibition can be visited during the public opening days organized by Eni in collaboration with FAI, and during some events such as and Maker Faire Rome The European Edition, which will be held inside the space in the following months.

Open Studios at
17,18,19 June

To celebrate the end of the Studio Program Turn #7, the participants of CASTRO’s Studio Program will open their studios to the public.

On the 17,18,19 of June, from 12pm to 6pm, it will be possible to visit the artist’s studios by appointment. To book a visit, please send an email at [email protected].

On the 19th of June, from 5pm to 8pm, CASTRO will open its doors for a public event with drinks.

During the Open Studio days, it will also be possible to see the work “Dreamers” realised by Anaïs Horn during her participation in the program.

Bombyx Mori is the scientific name for the silkworm moth, whose caterpillar has been used in silk production for thousands of years. This species has undergone complete domestication and can no longer be found in the wild. Inspired by David Cronenberg’s film The Fly, the Bombyx Mori mask series portrays a hybrid of a human and an insect. The first mask in this series was created specifically for the live performance Feast at Como Contemporanea (Co Co), a former silk factory.
