We all carry fractures inside us.
Experiences that changed us, pain we survived, versions of ourselves we had to leave behind.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repearing broken ceramics with gold, not to hide the cracks, but to honor them.
I translate this philosophy into tattooing because I believe transformation deserves to be visible.
Not everything meaningful wound needs to remain only a wound. Sometimes giving shape to what we lived through can help us carry it differently.
A Kintsugi tattoo is not about glorifying suffering.
It’s about integration, resilience, and finding beauty in what transformed you.
