Our Italy Tour of this year is over, and we would like to share a very short video of one of our concerts in Cividale del Friuli with you (J. Strauss - Éljen a Magyar). The String Quartet No. 2 by Josef Suk (1874–1935) in a single movement was written at the height of his compositional powers; with its complex harmonies and motivic structure, it seemed avant-garde for its day: the Berlin premiere of November 1912 was accompanied by protests from the audience.
Finally, here is our video production, which we recorded early this year in the beautiful Berlin Philharmonie! Also many thanks to our sound (and video) engineer Benedikt Schröder !
