Here’s how I turned an old cotton bedsheet into wearable art:

1.Cut all the pattern pieces

2.Painted directly on the cut fabric pieces using textile paint.

3.Let it dry + set the color by ironing, this way it is washable now!

4.Sewed it into a top that fits me perfectly with french seams inside

Ein spontaner Vormittag im Atelier:
Vorgestern am Straßenrand hab ich Reste einer Lampe gefunden… leicht kaputt und oll aber mit Potential!
Hab den Schirm gereinigt, mit Stencil ein Muster drauf getupft und
gerade im Atelier neue tolle Lampe aufgehangen💪🦸🏼

All creation begins with a small spark — an idea.

I keep a different for the different areas of my creativity: , , , and for my textile art and pattern design. Here, I loosely sketch dress patterns, experiment with block prints, and lately, explore .

Patchwork is a slow process. It takes time to assemble the small squares, to decide on size, rhythm, and how everything comes together. Just like painting, it requires composition.

It’s so exciting to watch it evolve and to fully enjoy the process.

It’s not finished yet — and the possibilities are endless.
Creativity truly knows no bounds.

Adieu winter tristesse!
For our next escape to the south - Istanbul- I made me a spring dress!
Painted the fabric, made a pattern, dug out my sewing machine.. and just went for it💙

It‘s time.
The Atelier is cleaned up..
(although I do have my and with me!)

Presents are wraped, cards sent, dresses ironed.. time for german and , , more walks around the Christmas markets and .

It‘s amazing what one can do with a limited !
Small paintings - limited colors - earthly tones..

I thought choosing less would feel restrictive. Instead, it opened a magical world of dark and light movement.
I can Focus more on the , the depth and without getting bored.

What is there to learn? There is boundless potential in restraint!
