This means: time for another Rumpeln concert when I open my studio and many of my studio neighbours will open their studios. The lineup is tbc. but anyways I will show a bit of my work: graphic poems, my new water instrument, a video performance, publications and dozing pieces.

Born and raised in the US-American Rust Belt, and a resident of Germany for over two decades, Rrill Bell draws on the formative inspirations of radical scratch culture, Cagean thought, harmolodics, musique concréte, and various other strains of experimental music practice. Originally rooted in the world of improvisational performance, over the past decade his work has expanded to include various hybrid approaches to location recording, augmented reality, composition, and audio narrative.

And a little reminder!!!: His 50-minutes audio fable "Blade's Return" was the inaugural Klappkart release! Still hot!!! It is a radiophonic narrative work relating the inner and outer reality of the handsaw Blade as he undertakes a journey back to the forest where he renounced cutting, to sing a song of regret and seek redemption. At the heart of the piece, which expands on the artist's unique personal approach to the cassette tape as a highly malleable medium for sound production and deepens his previous practice of "augmented reality" and embedded location recording, is an in-situ exploration of the "singing" saw as an expressive sound source for experimental music.

Introducing: GLAMOUR AMD GLOOM

Glamour and Gloom from Bremen is Lars who, together with a hijacked Hohner International home organ and some rhythmaparillo, sings and performs dark driving wave chansons. Lars also runs the and makes music with Spröde Lippen, among others. Come and swing along with these dense and drifty rides.

Klappkart Rumpeln 2 ~ studio concert ~ 26. Oct 2022

Gruppe Winkhorst from Bremen is a group consisting of winchy tapeloops, well-travelled fieldrecordings and a much too heavy mixing board! The Gruppe in fact is Jens who is not only playing his engrossing loopy music but who is also running a well sorted bookshop in Bremerhaven and the small music label . For many years now he is putting up concerts and events together with the lovely 'Die Chinesische Wäscherei' team in Bremen. Come and jump into the whirlpool of the Winkhorst loops.
