• first attempts at embroidery •

I had an old white blazer from H&M in my "to donate" pile of clothes when moving back to the UK, and instead of giving it away I for some reason decided to turn it into my biggest embroidery project yet 😁😅

I was really inspired by the jackets and embroidered vests from a brand called Maison Hotel, and thought maybe I could try making something similar, so I set about removing the liner from the jacket, tracing on a very colourful design with pens which did say they would fade in the wash but is still to be proven 😅, and now I am busy embroidering on the design. It's so fun giving it some new life and envisioning one day being able to wear something I've put my tiny designs all over ☺️✨️

How lucky we are to have people to check that we have made it home safely, that call us when something goes wrong, that want to know how we are and remind us of who we are - and that buy us biscuits from the shops ☺️

My heart is so full thinking of all the kind, interesting, spiritual, driven, supportive, insightful people I get to do life with - pouring their love out into this little art piece was so beautiful and I can't wait to do the same when looking back at February in a few weeks' time ☺️

Teeny tiny A6 cards for flowers, a bottle of wine, as a welcome when your friend comes to stay, or as a little something for them to keep in their wallet 🤗

Little dreamy moments ☺️🌻

Some new designs I brought to yesterday - always a joy to be there 😍

My mum always says that we are "living through our own history" and I try to remember that in the times where I am working hard to keep all the plates spinning, that one day I will look back on this time as the time that I started selling my own creations and got to stock shelves for the first time. Crazy. 😍 It reminds me also to take a moment to realise what had to happen for me to be here now. 😊

Of course I don't know what the next phase will look like, but if it's continuing to build upon this one then I am EXCITED 😍
