as i’ve been asked about the name (especially why mischief), at the markets a lot, here’s what it really means to me.

mixing metals. gold and silver. something that used to be a strict no, almost a rule you weren’t meant to question. like choosing both was already a little act of mischief.

somewhere along the way a few years ago, i stopped caring about the rule and started trusting the feeling. i fell in love with it. balancing the two tones, letting them clash a little, then settle into each other. when i wear mixed metals, it feels complete. when i stick to just one, i often feel like something’s missing.

metallic mischief is exactly that. breaking the old idea of ‘either or’ and turning it into ‘both.’ letting both exist. making them work together. not perfectly, but intentionally.

it turns out that being a little mischievous, in the softest way, is what defines soft trouble. bending rules just enough to make space for something in between.

sneak peek of the chain fall necklace. this series has been with me for over a year now. earrings, fringe bracelet, necklace, even a glove. when i started working on it, i didn’t have the words yet, but the feeling was already there. looking back, these were some of the first pieces leaning into soft trouble, alongside others that will be part of the upcoming online shop. still feels like a really important chapter for me.
