Ehrlich gesagt ringe ich nach der Premiere von 'Lost Instars' vor etwas über einer Woche noch immer um Worte, um die Erfahrung dieser Produktion einzuordnen... Deswegen Danke ich Katja Kollmann für ihre Worte in der aktuellen Kritik der Fidena:
"Dramaturgisch ist der Abend ein Meisterstück, die Spannung hält sich konstant auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Wunderbar ist, dass man während dieser fünfzig intensiven Minuten keinen Augenblick lang voraussehen kann, wie es im nächsten Moment oder überhaupt weitergehen könnte. Der Abend wirkt wie ein entschleunigter Schnellzug mit Aussicht auf völlig neue Landschaften. Das kann definitiv süchtig machen."

A huge thank you to Zirkus On and Katapult for having let me do this residency! Katapult is an amazing place to create, and is on top of that run by super supportive nice people!
And thank you to all the beautiful friends who were there and shared the experience of yesterdays showing of 'Lost Instars'. It was a pleasure to play for you! Thank you Cox for providing the camera and filming!

Thank you Ruhrfestspiele2022 for hosting the performance of 'Lost Instars'.
It was a great trip to perform this show at your beautiful festival!

Thank you very much Ruhrfestspiele2022 and ZirkusOn for having given the stage to The Optimists yesterday and the day before!
It was a nice dive into lightdesign with the amazing Piotr, great support from the team, an amazing venue and most important of all - great fun going into the performance.
I am really looking forward to the next time to share more unseen material of this visual object theater piece..:

"Einen Überraschungscoup landen auch "The Optimists", eine Berliner Gruppe, die mit dem T-Werk kooperiert. "Lost Instars" wird als Science-Fiction-Objekttheater beschrieben, erweist sich aber als zirzensische Miniatur höchster Güte. Wir erleben einen Mann, der ein fantastisches Fabelwesen aus einem Knäuel blauer Bälle zum Leben erweckt."

Thank you so much T-Werk for hosting us at Lange Nacht der Freien Theater last Saturday!
It was a milestone for us to finally perform an excerpt of this Soloperformance in front of an audience. The feedback we received from the audience was also a huge relief and makes us very happy.
So now looking forward to Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, where we share a double bill with René and Sinking Sideways on 2nd and 3rd of June!

Heute um 20:00 Uhr wäre die Premiere von 'Lost Instars' im
T-Werk Potsdam gewesen...
Leider fielen 3 von 4 Probenwochen vor der Premiere durch Coronanfektionen im Team aus.
Damit fordert dieses Projekt wieder einmal alles heraus - die Planbarkeit in den pandemischen Zeiten, die Konzentration, Kraft und Ressourcen, die ich und alle Beteiligten (mit jungen Familien) in die Produktion stecken können und die Sehnsucht, das Material endlich zu spielen...
Ich war gerührt von den Rückmeldungen und dem Support auf die Absage hin - liebe Familie, Freunde, Kollegen und Koproduzenten: Einen herzlichen Dank dafür!
Das neue Premierendatum lautet 9./10. September 2022 im T-Werk Potsdam.

PS.: Und in Kürze folgen Spieltermine, an denen Auszüge aus 'Lost Instars' schon vorher gesehen werden können.

Lost Instars - T-Werk DE

In one month the production 'Lost Instars' is gonna have its Premiere in T-Werk Potsdam.
This will be an exciting step on the way to creating this work!

Very grateful to start our residency at beautiful T-Werk Potsdam! We are working on light design (and appropriate facial expressions) for our upcoming production 'Lost Instars'.
The work will premiere in T-Werk on Feb.11 2022.
We are also very grateful to NEUSTART KULTUR for making this production possible!
