Zemin befindet sich in Kreuzberg, Berlin, wo die kulturelle Vielfalt gefeiert wird und das Konzept der Nähe und Distanz eine neue Bedeutung erhält. Zemin hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, einen freien Raum für Künstler zu bieten und

Analog Flux is a live analog sound event series hosted by Zemin Berlin, focused on hands-on, hardware-based sound practices. The series explores modular and semi-modular synthesis, tape music and magnetic media, feedback systems and signal loops, DIY instruments and custom-built devices, and obsolete and legacy media. Through live performances and process-oriented presentations, Analog Flux creates a shared space for deep listening, experimentation, and exchange around analog and hybrid sound practices.

We invite artists working with:

Five years ago, our journey began — filled with exhibitions, performances, gatherings, and friendships. Zemin has become a space shaped by migration, movement, and transformation; for us, and for everyone who has crossed paths here.

Unbinding Histories

In 2022, a group of artists from different parts of the world gathered in Arles for a residency program led by renowned photographer Antoine d’Agata. Through photography, they explored identity and urgent social issues, weaving together diverse perspectives, colors, and voices.

Coinciding with 2025, Unbinding Histories reflects on the challenges of living between cultures, forming an identity within borders, and the emotional landscapes of isolation, insecurity, and vulnerability. The exhibition invites viewers to engage with these themes and foster empathy beyond boundaries.

We are excited to announce an intensive 8-hour DJing workshop led by Adham Farid, a seasoned DJ with over a decade of experience performing and teaching the art of DJing.

This workshop is designed for those who want to delve deep into the technical and creative aspects of DJing. Limited to 5 participants, it offers a focused, hands-on learning environment where you’ll gain the skills and confidence to craft unique sets and connect with audiences. After completing the 8-hour course each participant will be able to host their own party night at Zemin Berlin.
