A dragon worth a separate post 🌚

It’s extremely rare for me to work on projects that feature only a main character and nothing else - no background, no botanicals, no complex compositional solutions. On one hand, this is because my heart is drawn to large-scale works because they always stand out with their storytelling, level of detail, and ability to capture attention. On the other hand, I rarely get commissioned for smaller designs.

Be that as it may, this dragon was completed in a single, not very long session 🌿 I’ve added a few angles and some of the work-in-progress shots to the post.

Perhaps one day small projects will appear more often in my portfolio. Who knows? 🌙

If I post on Instagram every week, the planned content will last for 7 months.

This thought keeps haunting me, while the projects keep piling up. So, I’m pulling myself together and taking on the challenge - here I am. I’ll try to make sure that by the end of the summer, my entire beautiful feed of saved-up works is shared here. And yes, this is a star-level challenge for me.

Well, I’ll start with this work :3
This project was created for Julia. It wasn’t easy because I had to fit the tattoo into a very limited space on her shoulder - with tattoos already on both sides, leaving me with a narrow and elongated area. For Julia, this tattoo was very personal and meaningful: every object in the composition had its purpose.

For me, it’s truly valuable that people choose me as an artist to preserve their memories and emotions 🖤 So it’s especially important for me to be part of such significant projects.

It turns out that the majority of my work consists of projects that take 2 or more sessions to finish. That’s why I especially enjoy working on something that can be completed in a single day and then proudly showing it off with a sense of accomplishment 🌙🦇

I really miss projects that can be completed in 1-3 sessions, and I’d love for clients to come to me for them more often. So, it’s time to add this cute little bird to my collection of available projects for booking :3 This design will be suitable for the inner side of the forearm + a part of the shoulder, the outer side of the shoulder or the shin.

Healed tattoo on Lera 🌚

I rarely make separate posts with healed tattoos, but this time I was lucky enough to catch Lera at the studio and take some photos. Now I have a few nice shots, and you get the chance to see how my healed works looks.

We partially covered a scar - you can see it on the bird’s head if you look closely. We also connected the tattoo on her shoulder (which I did) with the lizard (which wasn’t my work). Maybe one day we’ll fill in the remaining space on her arm, and it will become a full sleeve 🌿

Oh, almost forgot: the healed bird and botanical tattoo in the photo is about 6 months old.

Correction of a tattoo by another tattoo artist 🌙

Lera had a tattoo with a snake and botanical elements, which was about 3-4 years old at the time of correction.

The task was significant because I needed to fix almost everything: update the entire outline, restore the snake’s face, add shading to the tattoo to separate the objects, and modify the tail so that its dynamics fit well on this part of the arm. Additionally, I had to draw the snake because a huge part of it behind the flowers and leaves was simply missing (why this happened, no one knows and never will :). I also needed to add a tongue to the snake, as well as leaves, flowers, and spider webs next to it 🌚

Any cover-ups and corrections are always more challenging than tattooing on clean skin. This is because the tattoo artist must consider not only the client’s wishes but also a number of technical factors: the placement of the existing tattoo, its composition, the state of the pigment under the skin, and based on that, determine how to correct the tattoo. Here’s what I done in one long session 🪴I’ve added several close-up photos to the post, as well as a photo with a small sketch drawn with a pen on the skin before the session.

thanks again for your trust and patience. I’m truly glad that the snake has now gotten a second life (if I can put it that way) and additionally has stylistically matched the other tattoos we’ve managed to create together 🖤

A sleeve based on Hermann Hesse’s book.

I’ve already talked a bit about this project in my stories. It has a long history that started back in November 2021 🌚 That was when Polina and I first met for a consultation to discuss her future sleeve: she wanted a design based on Hesse’s «Demian». At that time, I had never done such large-scale designs based on specific works, but I really wanted to.

Due to life circumstances, the work on the sleeve was completed a couple of years later, and I am glad that I can finally post it. Thank you for trusting me with this 🖤

A candle based on one of my designs for Nicole 🌙

This design had a long history: I drew it in February 2020 and it really lay among the available projects for a long time. It was asked about many times, but only last year it finally waited for its person. Before the session, we chose from several size options and I still look at the photo and am happy with how great we picked the place and the perfect size for it.

The upper moth would be good on the hip, upper back (under the neck), chest or the back of the shin. The two lower moths would be good on the forearm, shoulder, shin or on the upper back (along the spine).

This tattoo I did for my mom 🖤

For a year mom asked me to make her a tattoo with a broom. The difficulty for me was that I had already done a tattoo of this kind and I didn't want to repeat myself.

While I was sketching the future design, I added a couple of waving ropes to the broom. I drew directly on mom's leg and I don't remember which of us voiced this idea, but it was decided to add a bat (so that the broom would have company) 🦇 That's how this somewhat spontaneous design came about.

I guess I could say it's a +1 to my collection of memorable tattoos. Getting a tattoo for a parent is a bit strange, but it's very nice to realize the degree of trust (in this situation it goes to a new level).

One of my favorite tattoo 🖤

This tattoo I did for and it was based on The Raven Rings book series by Siri Pettersen. The skull was to be the centerpiece of the composition and there were a few details I had to consider. It was necessary to involve the main characters' necklaces in the image: an old wolf tooth and an oval shell of a certain shape. It was also decided to add a book symbol on the skull, Camellia sinensis (tea leaves) and Fumaria (I learned about this plant for the first time).

I really love the woods 🖤🌿

In March, I tried for the first time to make a post with a project location on the body. That time the published design was taken away very quickly, so posts of this kind didn't have time to become my habit and I forgot about them 😅 Now it's time to bring them back to the account.

So, a combination of the incongruous: a design available for booking and a photo of me.

I didn't want to use photos of body parts from the internet to create layouts, so l asked to take photos of me for this purpose :3

Ermine for Lona 🌱

This was one of the most unusual tattoo projects I've done and the stoat plays an important role of protector here. In addition to him, we added several species of plants that grow in Lona's hometown.

For every tattoo I put my best foot forward, but I feel a special responsibility when I am entrusted with ideas with a story. Maybe I'm just overly reverent about tattoos that imply a connection to a certain place, a memory or that are done to commemorate something.

But be that as it may, tattoos of this type hold a special place in my heart.

The latest project from Dresden for Marie 🖤

I want to tell you about this tattoo. It all started with a sketch with a bird, which was among the available projects for about 2 years.

Marie wrote before my arrival in Dresden and sent me a picture of her shoulder. After spending some time, I changed the top half of the sketch (the botanicals above the bird) a bit to make the design fit the anatomical features. It is important to pay attention to such things, as they strongly influence the perception of the tattoo as a whole - it is important that the tattoo was proportionate to the chosen placement and fit into the anatomy.

We made the tattoo in 2 sessions. In the photo you can see how the lower part of the tattoo is shining and peeling - this is due to the fact that the lower part of the tattoo we finished for the first session and at the time of the second session it was already actively healing 🌚

Hey, my name is Stanislava and I'm a tattoo artist 🖤

I've been doing tattoos since 2018 and I love meeting new people at sessions, talking to them and hearing their stories. But as a rule I don't tell much about myself 🌚 So I decided to make up for it here by doing a post with a few facts.

· The woods are my love. I have a special place in my heart for swamps, tall conifers, field grasses and bottomless lakes among huge boulders and cliffs. I love this atmosphere from old fairy tales that nature creates, so I try to carry it into my tattoos 🌱
· Despite becoming a tattoo artist, I am very shy. So switching to English in my account and in life was another challenge for me - it's how I overcome both communication and language barriers ( that's why I get breaks in my stories)
· I've been a vegetarian for a little over 8 years now 🪴
· I think my totem animal is a possum *this has nothing to do with the previous fact*
· I have not traveled much in my life, but in the last year I have been in 9 countries around the world. Out of 12 months I have spent 6 of them travelling.
· The first tattoo on me was a ~75% left leg project. At that time I wanted to find out how well I could tolerate pain, because I dreamed of a sleeve from an overseas master. And anyway, why trivialize it? 🌙
·PI love cemeteries and try to visit them in every new country.
· The most memorable gift that I received after a tattoo session - the book "Demian" by Hermann Hesse.
· Two favorite universes: "The Witcher" and "Harry Potter."
· My main goal for the next year is to find a place where I can move with my husband, books, play station and where I can continue to realize myself as a tattoo artist. I hope to be able to read this point in a year and be glad it worked out.
