Thrilled to present our studio and our project at this Friday from 3:15 to 6pm.

Thanks to for the great opportunity.

This seminar explores the role of data in modern aesthetics by examining how narratives evolve between traditional and new media, highlighting key distinctions between narrative and dramaturgy, and offering creative approaches to data representation. It emphasises the role of the ‘Data Director’ in crafting engaging experiences and examines how technology shapes creativity through real-world artworks. By presenting forms of applied technology and creativity, the seminar provides insights into what makes digital art impactful today.

Beyond excited to present our latest project SILENO in Project Area of Sonar+D 2024 supported by .

The Sileno installation is an innovative fusion of AI and philosophy, challenging the traditional roles of oracles and questioning human cognition. For centuries, oracles have mystified humanity, offering elusive glimpses into the future and challenging seekers to interpret their meanings. The emergence of science and artificial intelligence has begun to disrupt these traditional narratives, introducing a new form of “digital oracle” that merges machine learning with deep philosophical foundations. The Sileno installation embodies this convergence, using deep learning algorithms and synthesizing Alan Turing’s imitation game and theories of narrative identity to forge a unique digital consciousness.

Unlike traditional oracles that provide answers, Sileno provokes questions, encouraging users to explore issues of cognition, emotion, and identity. In a world that often simplifies complexity, this installation utilizes artificial intelligence to address and articulate intricacy, pushing the boundaries of what we consider possible. Sileno is not just a technological wonder; it is a mirror for human introspection.

Can a machine emulate human complexity? Sileno not only poses this question but becomes an arena to contemplate it, pushing the boundaries of technology and human self-understanding.

SILENO goes to 🖤

Come meet our digital oracle from the 13th to the 15th of June in the Project Area of Sonar+D 2024 supported by .

SILENO is a project that aims to leverage the potential of artificial intelligence to deliver insights beyond simple replies. Unlike traditional oracles, which provide fixed results, SILENO introduces doubt and challenges preconceptions, taking users through an examination of their own existential issues.
The installation becomes a conduit for wisdom, relying on its enormous knowledge to encourage introspection and contemplation.

The project “Sileno” was selected by for a Fellowship Program for Digital Artists in Residency, organised with the support of the European Union’s Creative Europe program and the AUGE NEXT cooperation .

Ten thousand years ago, there were 1 million people living on the planet, fifty years ago there were 3 billion of us and, today we have reached 8 billions.

We have modified almost every part of our planet and, as we continue to grow, our need for vital resources increases exponentially. We human beings are the main force behind every global problem we face.

THE EGG is a kinetic sound sculpture created and produced by and symbolises the cycle of life, reflected in the shape of the sculpture with neither beginning nor end, symbolizes fertility and reproduction - and thus questions the impact of overpopulation. Driven by real-time data generated by the Worldometer, the sculpture constantly changes its shape.

Opening Today - Anthropocene.

27-29th Jan 2022 Orville’s Berlin]

______

As part of the .berlin 2022 a city wide program of events before and during the and , Anecoica Studio presents Anthropocene. A collective exhibition of selected artworks, created to highlight the dynamics of the relationship between humans, nature, and technology and how the latter is transforming us and shaping a new era based on intelligent autonomous systems.

The Anthropocene is the age of humankind, where the Anthropos - the human being - intervene on the Earth's system unprecedentedly. Technical inventions and the way they operate have shaped social interaction in a completely new and different way putting their relationship with the environment to the test.

The increasing intensity, severity, and frequency of environmental-ecological disasters in the last decades have brought greater urgency in discussions surrounding climate change, environmental justice, and the Anthropocene.

Today, we see the whole world of science focusing on exploring these themes, analyzing vast amounts of collected data, calculating models, and giving us a key to understanding the present and future through computer science and mathematics.
