The video by Lukas Paul Wehner about my work "whispering bottles" won 2nd prize.
Short movie competition organised by the Museum international Ceramic, MiC, Faenza, Italy.

It was an interesting day with colleagues, CERDEE leaders, politics and culture from 6 countries.

Zwei der Kunstwerke der Bamberger Porzellan-Künstlerin Christiane Toewe wurden im Rahmen der Ausstellung "Global Art Competition UNFCCC-Cop15" ausgezeichnet. Die Werke thematisieren den Klimawandel.

This week’s lecture, “Balance— In the Context of Society” at 20:00 (Dec 08 UTC+8). We will be having Christiane Toewe, a German independent artist and 1st Chair of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Upper Franconia eV.

“Porcelain and light are my working materials.”

In the lecture, Christiane will use her art installations to express the beauty of light and shadow, porcelain and its translucency to convey her philosophy about balancing, political and social themes.

“The luminous objects disappear in their own light and overcome the limits of materiality. The shadows and light reflections that the objects cast on the wall, the interaction between sculpture and space, reinforce this impression even more.”

BALANCE exhibition in the Wechterswinkel monastery 6 months without visitors. Only my friend Michaela was able to take a look at the exhibited works before they were dismantled. "take care" is the name of this installation of 168 porcelain swinging bowls. Each bowl has the name of a real person. This society must be protected.
