Our recording studio in Augsburg was founded in 2007 and has a large selection of vintage synthesizers and rare gear from the 70s and 80s. We are specialized in Independent and Electronic Music with years of experience areas such as Synthpop, Gothic, Wave, Industrial, EBM, Post-Punk, NDW, Electro, Indie, and Techno. We know this kind of music and style with all the background and sound by our hear

t. We love to support your project with our knowledge. We do not offer polished, overproduced music. We produce emotional sound, returning the sound of the 80s New Wave/Electronic music with all the original gear and knowledge to mix, master, and create this darker music . For every project, we offer competence, a great atmosphere and the right analog and digital technology. We did it! 🚀 I’m thrilled to announce that the first season of Superior, produced by Zodiac Pictures for Amazon, has officially finished filming!

The journey wasn’t easy—but then again, it would have been boring if it was! 😅 From recording on location at the stunning Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) in Switzerland 🇨🇭 to various spots in and around Munich 🇩🇪, and finally wrapping at Lake Constance (Bodensee) 🌊, it’s been an adventure.
We tackled a high cast count with amazing talents like Zoe Fürmann, Jonathan Kriener, Jule Hermann, Kjell Brutscheidt and Lukas von Horbatschewsky. It was a true privilege to capture the dialogues penned by the fabulous author Adrian Spring Adrian Spring , even under some of the most acoustically challenging conditions! 🌬️🔊
Now, heading into post-production and can’t wait to see the final result. Stay tuned! 🍿✨

🎬 Incredible journey as Boom Operator on Camilla Guttner’s film „Die Akademie“!
It was an absolute privilege to be part of this unique production, especially collaborating with my long-time friend and colleague .filmton.tonpostpro as Production Sound Mixer. Our teamwork was the heartbeat of the sound department. From capturing the raw energy of an entire „Notwist“ concert to recording delicate scenes at the Kunsthochschule, we pushed the boundaries of location sound to create something truly special. The dynamic range we achieved—from the roar of the crowd to the quietest artistic whispers—was fabelhaft! ✨🎙️
I am so proud of what we created together.

🎬 Sound Journey: In The Name Of The Empress 👑
What an absolute adventure it was to serve as Production Sound Mixer on director Jovana Reisinger’s film „In The Name Of The Empress“ (Original: Unterwegs im Namen der Kaiserin)! 🎙️✨
We told a completely wild, offbeat Sissi story – not a classic biography, but a hyper-feminine, q***r, and philosophical road trip in search of the fountain of youth. 🏔️🥂
For me, the biggest challenge (and joy) was: Rethinking cinema. 🧠🎧 How do you capture such specific poetry in sound? How do you record philosophical, mannered, yet deeply human dialogues so they ring crystal clear through the center channel while retaining every subtle nuance? It was about balancing satirical wit with genuine emotional depth – a sonic dance between Heimatfilm clichés and modern reflection.
I am incredibly proud of the result and grateful for the trust in my work. A huge shoutout to the entire sound team, especially on the Boom, for his work on set! 🎚️🤝
If you watch the film, listen closely: The sound carries a huge part of the philosophical weight on this wild journey. 🎶👣

I can’t even describe how fascinated I am by delay devices. I absolutely love them! 🎚️❤️
I collect them and use them constantly—every single one sounds different and has its own unique charm. There is something truly magical about the character of vintage 8-bit and 12-bit Bucket Brigade delays that modern plugins just can’t replicate. 🎛️✨

There’s nothing quite like the power of a professional community—especially the exchange with fellow sound post-production colleagues. 🎧✨
Last .ev BVFT (Berufsverband Film Ton) meetup in Munich was the perfect example. A huge thank you to Michael Hinreiner (BVFT Board Member) for hosting us at his incredible studio. We had the privilege to tour the facility and experience his amazing monitoring system firsthand. 🎚️🔊
As always, the highlight was the conversation. Catching up with colleagues like .filmton.tonpostpro and Kristofer Harris, plus meeting so many new faces, made it a truly special evening. These moments of connection are what make our association so valuable. 🤝🎬

Throwback to the summer of 2015. 🌾🎙️
Digging through some archives and found these special AB stereo recordings I captured on set while filming „Die letzte Sau“. It’s hard to believe it was already 11 years ago.
One of the most vivid memories is recording the sound of the rustling cornfields during those hot summer days. We wanted to capture the authentic atmosphere of the countryside, and listening to these tracks now brings it all back instantly. The wind in the grain, the silence before the storm, the raw nature that plays such a big role in the film.
If you haven’t seen it yet, „Die letzte Sau“ (The Last Pig) is a highly recommended watch—a rebellious, anarchic road movie about a farmer who takes a stand against industrial agriculture with nothing but his moped, his last pig, and a shotgun. 🐗🚜

Honored to have served as Head of Department on Frédéric Hambalek’s Berlinale feature Was Marielle Weiss. This project was a masterclass in the art of cinema, specifically the challenge of capturing dialogue with absolute precision for the center channel.
🎙️ The Technical Craft In a film driven by psychological tension and telepathic nuances, every breath matters. We focused on capturing the subtlest vocal textures using high-end shotgun microphones (mostly MKH 8000 series), ensuring that the dialogue sits perfectly in the center of the soundstage. The goal was a clean, intimate signal that preserves the actor’s true performance without needing excessive post-processing.
🙌 Team Appreciation I am incredibly grateful for where my path has led me. A massive shoutout to my brilliant Boom Operator, Lukas Hab. His steady hand and precise mic placement were instrumental in capturing the clean, nuanced tracks that formed the foundation of our mix. Couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime! 🎧✨

Stay in sync! 🎬🔊
To ensure picture and sound align perfectly in post-production, timecode is essential. I’m very happy with the timecode generators from , right here in my hometown of Munich. Not just because of the gear, but also because the Ambient team is always incredibly helpful.

Here’s a custom rig I built using a Manfrotto tripod and RoboCups. This setup is perfect for securing the Booms on uneven forest floors where traditional spikes might slip. Stability is key, no matter the terrain! 🎬🍃
