2016 we started the kaiserstadt tattoo expo with a bang! legendary tattoo master Horikyo from nakano,tokyo worked in aachen!
Horikyo passed away some years ago but his legacy will live on!
this year we welcome the „irezumi summit“ with 8 traditional japanese tattooers.
if you are into japanese tattooing for real, this is the place to be!
15th - 17th of september. less than 2 weeks!

red flags everywhere!
while some artists will already be booked for the weekend others will have time for walkups. means: you can literally get tattooed right away. to avoid that you have to ask at every booth who has time or not, these red flags will show you which artists have time available on the day.

for the attending artists who dont want to miss their work-out during the weekend we offer one hour of combat fitness with NFC-MAA pro on saturday the 16th at 8am and a hour of yoga at 9am with who might some remember from previous years. all this will happen a 4 minute walk from the melia innside hotel. just a block away. please DM us to book in.

we are very proud to have ole wittmann from @nachlass.warlich doing a lecture on tattooing in hamburg covering christian warlich and his main competetion karl finke. the lecture will be in english and german during the weekend. @nachlass.warlich will release a book of karl finke flash at the #kaiserstadttattooexpo Wir sind sehr stolz darauf das Ole Wittmann während der Expo Vorträge zum Tätowieren in Hamburg halten wird. Der Focus wird Christian Warlich und Karl Finke sein, der Warlichs grösste Konkurrenz war! @nachlass.warlich wird zur #kaiserstadttattooexpo ein Vorlagebuch von Finke veröffentlichen! Die Vorträge werden in deutsch und englisch gehalten!

HERE WE GO! we start off thursday night with the grand opening of the "passing through" art show of @williamlollie @sonertats and @justinweatherholtz !! then we open our expo on friday for 3 days of great tattooing, lectures and an exhibition of vintage tattoo flash and machines! saturday @thesinnerandthesainttattoo celebrates its 20th anniversary with live music by @_ghostmaker_ and dj jan playing the dark side of the eighties! on sunday night we close the weekend with the "flippin the bird" art show by @olaftruelove @hennestruelove and @till_pulpanek Dont miss out!!!
