A new TRIMILL VS 1614 has arrived in Canada!

Our team sent us a few photos and videos from the installation, and it’s great to see the machine moving at its new home. Our technician is still due to complete the final checks, testing and handover before the customer puts it to work.

This VS 1614 has a tilting rotary table for demanding five axis machining. And if you’d like to see what this machine model can do once the chips start flying, watch TITANS of CNC MACHINING tackle a massive blisk on their VS 1614.

Meet the TRIMILL VU 3016 – a compact mill-turn solution that combines milling and turning in one machine.

Equipped with a rotary table, our T30C fork-type milling head and an HSK-T100 interface, it enables complete machining in a single setup.

One machine. One setup. Milling and turning.

At our customer’s production, the machine has been delivering this combination for several years, helping to significantly shorten the complete machining process.

The main applications include the production of various types of gears for the mining and cement industries, as well as other heavy-duty components.

And this is the smallest model in our VU range.

The rotary table has a diameter of 1,800 mm, while the same machine concept can be adapted to larger components with increased travels and rotary tables measuring 2,000, 2,500, 3,000 or even 3,500 mm in diameter.

Fewer setups. Less handling. Faster production of the finished part.
