Black Light Theatre Metro stands out from other black light theatres in Prague because of our unique and patented technology. Our performances are successful both at home and abroad; we have travelled to many countries to share our original shows. Our theatre is located within ten minutes of many major Prague landmarks, and only five minutes from Wenceslas Square.
Our traditional theatre combines three-dimensional light tricks with dance and pantomime. Inanimate objects take on a life of their own and become characters in their own right. The performances are suitable for all ages and are perfect for international audiences as they contain little to no spoken word. Humour, surprise, joy, loneliness, love…The range and depth of emotion will astound you.
You also have the opportunity to participate in our unique black light theatre workshop. This brief workshop is held directly after each performance. During this time, our talented cast members perform one scene in both black and normal light before inviting volunteers up on stage to give it a go. We are the only theatre in Prague to reveal our techniques, so this is a one-of-a-kind experience!
