12 years of Komiks Warehouse parties 🔥
We want to show you and at the same time reminisce with you about something really important to us: the lights, decorations and installations, which are almost as important to us as the music that plays at the Komiks events.
We always try to work with the venue in which Komiks is taking place and highlight the most interesting parts by illuminating them, completing them, or with a site-specific exhibition.
Write in the comments which of the places you liked the most visually!

For our 12th b-day Rave we’re super excited to show you one of the hottest name on the international techno circuit: YANAMASTE ⚡
Irakli Danelia is a DJ and producer from Batumi, Georgia — and right now one of the most exciting names in techno, full stop. His story is wild: piano since the age of six, then drums, guitar and traditional Georgian instruments. When he discovered techno as a teenager, there were no synth shops in Georgia and nobody to teach him — so he taught himself modular synthesis from scratch. Every sound in his sets is his own, built wave by wave, impossible to repeat. 🖤
At 23 he closed a set in G2, the small room of Tbilisi’s legendary KHIDI — and walked out as a resident. Since then he has torn through Berghain, Awakenings and Stone Techno, and his ‘Evil’ EP on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm sold out on vinyl so fast it already got a repress. Raw, funky, physical techno with melodies that stay in your head for days.
Catch him on the main stage at Komiks on 5th September.
IMPORTANT: he plays an early afternoon set. We really mean it. Come late and you’ll miss him 😶‍🌫️

Dreams come true! Komiks at the Skatepark with our favorite Yanamaste and finally 3 outdoor stages. Debut open air stage by EDEN crew, tucked away in a green scenery just behind the skatepark. 5th Sept ✨

Skatepark Štvanice – the place that changed Komiks forever.
Where our first day parties first kicked off. A space that connects people. Green while urban, remote while near by, nice but run-down. Place where art meets music and graffiti.
And for the first-ever daytime session at Štvanice, we’re doing 3 stages and dropping a huge techno booking. One of the most exciting names in the game right now – YANAMASTE
Heads up: our headliner will perform an EARLY AFTERNOON SET – so don’t be late!
BUSH hideout stage will host some of our long time favorite local jocks together with Schwa in his first proper house/techno set after his serious ear injury. Big surprise to have him back.
Debut EDEN Garden Stage (behind the skatepark) will host cream of the local techno artists who focus on the banging side of things. From 4PM till late.
And after the Štvanice day-rave?
Get ready for a night time action at Altenburg, with a storm of techno, breaks, acid and rave music powered by amazing dj and producer Bailey Ibbs.
This time with a proper aircon included. So yeah, no more sweat dripping from the ceiling. Just clean sound and heavy groove.

We know it doesn’t sound very Czech to brag about ourselves, but we’re really proud of how far Komiks has come and how good the last few episodes looked — both visually and musically ⚡️
Thank you for showing up in bigger and bigger numbers, the last event at Alta was little too small for us, but on the next Komiks on 5th September we gonna make it up to you. Event info is coming next week✨

We’re cooking up something that hasn’t been done here before. Both visually and with the lineup. Day Time action for the books.

We want to thank all of you so, so much for being part of this and helping us create one of the best Komiks of recent years together 🔥
The venue was unique — 2 outdoor stages and 2 indoor stages, which in our opinion covered almost the entire spectrum of electronic music, including disco, house, electro, garage, electronica, funk and proper techno.
Big thanks to the amazing Live Acts — HRTL LIVE, PROJECTGERMS LIVE and ROMAN RAI Live ❤️
At the same time, we want to thank our headliners John Talabot & THC very much.

Finally, we want to give a huge thank you to the artists who created the lights and decorations (the atmosphere and feeling of the event) — Matyáš Baierle and his team (Petra, Mariana, Kryštof, Honza and everyone else). We also want to thank Elly aka Noname Flora very much, who made the beautiful live flower decorations. Big up goes to LDSB crew for amazing Mill stage!

Thank you ♡ We love you 🔥
This was something unreal for us! Once again a completely new place with 2 outdoor & 2 indoor stages – 28 artists.
The outdoor stage – the Komiks Garden was amazing, and we dare to say that in terms of size, design, sound, and even the lights, it’s one of the highlights we’ve done in the last 12 years. We simply love outdoor settings.

We thank LDSB for the great stages and for their work, and likewise the Compact Disco crew for their outdoor disco stage with a shower 🙂
We also thank The Kitchen for the awesome morning takeover.
The heat was very strong, but also the vibe and your passion to dance pretty much nonstop.

NEXT DATE: 5th September. Stvanice Skatepark but this time a very different setup and with 3 stages!
