Společná výstava Olbrama Pavlíčka a Dona Elektra načrtává liminální prostor mezi vlastním tělesným prožitkem a neviditelnou architekturou moci, kterou dnes do značné míry rámují digitální technologie. Pod vyleštěným povrchem vlastního rozhraní formují a optimalizují vzorce lidského pohybu a chování do kvantifikovatelných a rozpoznatelných struktur. I Became a Room Again je melancholickou úvahou o postmediální únavě, nervovém systému zahlceném požadavky nepřetržitého propojení, disciplinace již přetíženého těla po vykazování neustálého výkonu.

The joint show by Olbram Pavlíček and Don Elektra explores the liminal space between one’s own bodily experience and the invisible architecture of power, which is today largely shaped by digital technologies. Beneath the polished surface of their own interface, they shape and optimize patterns of human movement and behavior into quantifiable and recognizable structures. I Became a Room Again exhibition is a melancholic reflection on post-media fatigue, a nervous system overwhelmed by the demands of constant connectivity, and the disciplination of an already overburdened body forced to deliver continuous performance.

Srdečně zveme na dernisáž výstavy Anny-Marie Berdychové & Pawła Sobczaka: Skin of Memory a na symbolické ukončení letošní výstavní sezony v Holešovické šachtě. Zároveň během večera proběhne uvedení nové kolekce šálů .space Scarf Collection.

Gabriele Steffe je kurátor a zakladatel kolektivu Nimaš Izbire, který od roku 2019 formuje novou generaci undergroundové klubové a avantpopové hudební kultury v Lublani. Jako DJ vystupující pod pseudonymem gabi98 zkoumá široké spektrum odvážné elektronické a alternativní městské hudby, mísí subkultury inspirované internetem s odkazem na rave a zvuky z celého světa.

Výstava Skin of Memory nastiňuje křehkou hranici mezi povrchem a tělesností, kde samotné zobrazení odhaluje a zároveň skrývá to, co leží pod ním. Povrch zde není pouze pomyslnou kůží, kterou lze propíchnout, ale nestabilní rovinou, kde se potkávají touha, paměť a nestálost těla. Sugestivní obrazy Pawła Sobczaka a precizně propracované objekty Anny-Marie Berdychové nabízejí spekulaci o tom, jak emocionální prožitky mohou zkreslovat rekonstrukci minulosti a proměňovat vnímání vlastní identity.

The Skin of Memory exhibition outlines the fragile boundary between surface and flesh, where the appearance reveals and conceals what lies beneath. The surface here is not just an imaginary skin that can be pierced, but an unstable plane where desire, memory, and the instability of the body meet. Paweł Sobczak's evocative paintings and Anna-Marie Berdychová's precisely crafted objects offer speculation on how emotional experiences can distort the reconstruction of the past and one's own identity.
