DOUBLE THE TROUBLE 👌

Once again, we got up to some mischief this weekend at the one and only amazing -supported — and overall the best — ❤️

Most of the time, we spent portraying the noble , but let’s be honest: the gear is a much better fit for an evening of drinking 💪

We had an amazing time with all the wonderful guests who visited our camp, as well as with old friends and everyone involved in making this glorious event happen — especially ❤️

The cursed blue dress 🎃

The blue dress you see in the first photo is about two years old now. I’ve worn it to at least three events, yet somehow this one close-up is the only decent photo I have of it — and that’s about it.

I lowkey hate that, especially since this project is a recreation of a late 15th-century dress from the Swiss Schilling Chronicles. The distinctive sleeves aren’t very common in our reenactment scene, so I was really excited to bring this style back to life 👌

Anyway, here’s hoping this season will be a bit more fruitful 😅

So we were in London couple weeks ago.

Coincidence has it, that it was the very same weekend when .maxwell.1481 held their Steel & Spurs event in quite nearby Bracknell. Opportunity we could not have left pass unnoticed, and everyone was really kind and accepting. Time well spent on horseback! ❤️

I don’t have any official photos from the event yet, but I’m way too excited not to share my latest project — an Aen Elle sorceress dress I’ve been working on since January 26.

The first ideas started forming in late 2025, when I discussed the concept with my amazing seamstress . We decided to prepare the base of the costume for the January Witcher Ball, with the final layers coming together during spring 2026, so it will be fully ready for in May.

What you see here is the first basic layer — silk dupioni and organza from . The coat and the “upper vest” are currently in the making, and there will also be additional decoration on the corset, likely some different jewelry and details.

Either way, I’m incredibly excited about this one. It’s a full fantasy costume, and I haven’t created anything like this in a long time ❤️

… and I also did some larping, lately!

All these photos come from an amazing event “Keltika” which was brought back to life after almost 7 dormant years after it’s initial 2 runs. The minute they announced it, I knew I have to play it, as I’m a huge fan of celtic esthetics and mythology in general.

Even though Keltika is not an reenactment event but a very mythical and mystical larp based in a vague 3th-4th century, it was a great excuse to buy some brooches and jewelry I always adored and wanted but never really needed for a late medieval reenactment.

It was all cold and gritty, we all ended up miserably, of course, but I had so much fun it really convinced me I should make a proper late roman/celtic/germanic costume in the near future😅👌

Ending this “fantasy trio” with my beloved Scoia’tael costume.

There’s a lot to say about it, since basically every part has some story behind it’s origin - some are parts of the Vrihedd uniform, some I got from a friend/foe, some were made literally 10 years ago, but lined literally last year😅

I love this costume mostly because it’s just so comfortable and I can always add or take off a layer to adjust to weather conditions.

Imagine you came to oppress some non-humans and THIS comes to rescue👌 I’d call a day off work, honestly🐲

I kinda love this cosplay of mine, maybe because it truly brings together both fantasy and some actual medieval principles… yes, it wouldn’t work in an actual warfare but it looks cool nevertheless 😂

To be more specific, the costume (both the in game design and my reconstruction) has:

1) basic doublet with rather long collar
2) some 15th century joined hosen
3) a few pieces of armor which make sense (like the gauntlets, elbows and legs)…
4) … and some which are, let’s say, missing a part (like the cuirass) but I’ve decided to make them steel anyways as it gives the costume some “depth” in my opinion
5) really love the detail of Saskia’s “headband” which we usually see on medieval helmets👌
