“blurred memories”
Joanie Guerrero (Joanie Guerrero)
03.10-10.10
Opening: 2.10, 18:00-22:00

Some glimpse, an unexpected fog, an abrupt memory
A sudden spasm brings us traces of remembrances we can’t escape, yet something seems missing, impossible to untangle.
Joanie Guerrero is a Peruvian artist based in the Czech Republic who researches this inexplicable absence and its own nuances. What lingers between family ties and the act of remembering? What are we left with during this inevitable research?

“We Are Not the Same, I’ll Eat the Pain” reflects the frustration of seeking medical help, during which one feels misunderstood, rejected, or put off.

It asks whether pain associated with the uterus is taken less seriously.

We already know the answer.

The performance is part of Karolína Auzká’s (𓆩♡𓆪 Karolína Auzká) “Holding Their Terrible Hands” curated by Viktoriia Shakhnovich ().
