We’re excited to introduce a new natural wine selection now available at Klub Petrohradska and Tusculum, featuring bottles from Czech producers you can enjoy by the glass or bottle.

🍇 Májová Milerka — a dry Müller-Thurgau from Dobrá Vinice with a minerally, earthy nose and a pleasant, full flavour.

🍷 Milan Nestarec – Běl — a fresh, juicy white blend of Müller-Thurgau, Welschriesling and Veltliner from one of Moravia’s most renowned natural winemakers.

✨ Also now on our wine list from Milan Nestarec:
• Nach, a lively red (Frankovka & Pinot Noir) with fresh character.
• Kiddo Blanc, a playful, crisp white with gentle fizz and energy.
• Barvířka, a juicy Moravian red with bright fruit notes of cherry, blackberry and elderberry.

Stop by with friends for a taste!

A visit with comic book artist Stewart Kenneth Moore, whose studio is based at Tusculum. We stopped by to see where his drawings take shape, talk process, and spend some time inside a space usually reserved for quiet, focused work.

Part of our ongoing In the Studio series, visiting artists working across Petrohradská Kolektiv.

8.11. 19:00🗝️Join us for a screening of the documentary VARSO✨with the director Kristián Grupač, with live perfo~>Bator Egg & dj set~> at our Petrohradská Kino🗝️

⛓️‍💥Boredom and frustration gave rise to a strong and distinctive alternative music scene in a forgotten corner of northern Slovakia. One of the first notable bands in Čadca was 0tras, formed in the early 1990s. The members — Peter “Varso” Varsavík (guitar, vocals), Julo Fujak (drums), Jožo Hruška, and Martin Baculák (bass) — released the album Kysucký Postindustriál in 1998, a record that made history and influenced an entire generation of young people from the region.

⛓️The documentary Varso, directed by Kristián Grupač, captures the life of an unconventional musician whose lifestyle and creative approach defy both musical and social norms. The story carries a message about creativity as a possible lifeline for someone struggling with long-term mental health issues. At the same time, it invites reflection on the relationship between art, mental health, and the environment in which an artist’s legacy is born — and slowly fades away.

🗝️Screening program:
19:00 – Listening session: 0tras – Kysucký Postindustriál
20:00 – VARSO (documentary screening)
21:00 – Bator egg (live concert)
22:00 – Eva Porating

Join us for the second evening of screenings in the series ℙ𝕖𝕥𝕣𝕠𝕙𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕤𝕜á ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕨𝕝𝕖𝕜𝕥𝕚𝕧 at on Thursday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m.

The opening film will be a short film by Slovak director Štefánia Lovasová called Venus in Retrograde, which was shot from the perspective of two sisters.

Venus in Retrograde / Štefánia Lovasová/ 15 min / 2024 / Slovakia
Video footage shot by two sisters portrays their escape from the real world through their phone while living with their mother escaping the same world but with the help of alcohol. Their nice memories are interwoven with the struggles of the family, but how will they snap the spiral?

The second screening will present the Lithuanian feature debut TOXIC by director Saulė Bliuvaitė, which won the main award at the Locarno Festival in 2024. The film is a visual essay on rural environments with a profound exploration of the psychology of adolescent characters, praised especially for the strong performances of young non-professional actresses and the director’s distinctive formal language.

The screening will be English-friendly, with English subtitles only.

Petrohradská Clawlektiv / Petrohradská x is a series of screenings curated by film producers Klára Mamojková and Wanda Kaprálová – CLAW Films. The program focuses on films that formally intersect with various spheres of visual art and reflect current social issues. The selection will feature works that are usually not available in Czech distribution, or pieces originally intended for presentation in gallery, performative, or online settings.

Continuous activities of Petrohradská kolektiv are financially supported in 2025 by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the City of Prague.

Last night in the Petrohradská courtyard, Black Morava’s performance unfolded under rain and smoke. The cold was cut by fire, and together they shaped the perfect atmosphere for the music. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and made it such an intimate night. It was the perfect way to commemorate Mojmír’s last event as music dramaturgist at Petrohradská.

Though we will miss Mojmír, we’re excited for the next chapter of live performance and art at the collective. Follow us to keep up.

Last Thursday at Petrohradská kolektiv, we began with a live concert by No Points (Michael Nechvátal & Angel Dodov .dod ), whose dialogue between modular synth and double bass opened the evening with an exploration of texture, rhythm, and improvisation.

This was followed by the first edition of Clawlektiv, a new screening series curated by Klára Mamojková and Wanda Kaprálová .kapral of CLAW Films. The program presented three works engaging with the visual and structural principles of game design, blurring the boundaries between cinema, gaming, and contemporary art.

The night concluded with a discussion featuring Andrea Hubert , Jára Moravec , Vojtěch Radakulan , and Andrej Sýkora , who reflected on video games as a means of artistic expression and as spaces for storytelling, simulation, and world-building.

Thank you to everyone who came and participated 🦋
