Founded in 2011, we are Prague's original English-speaking youth theatre. We provide native and non-native English speakers aged 5 to18 the opportunity to perform in full-scale productions and gain world-renowned theatre qualifications. PYT+ presents Anatomy of a Su***de by Alice Birch - a powerful, poetic and deeply moving play that follows three generations of women as their lives unfold across different timelines, revealing how trauma, memory and loss can echo through a family.

Performed by an exceptional ensemble cast of young actors, this ambitious production explores what we inherit, what we carry, and whether cycles of pain can ever be broken.

We love Fridays because it means PYT is tomorrow! 🎉

With just three rehearsals left until show time, things are starting to feel very real! 😬🤩

Tomorrow, we’ll be back in the studio refining, polishing, and bringing everything together ready for performance week. The hard work is done - now it’s all about the details, building confidence, and getting performance-ready.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow for another busy and exciting day of rehearsals. 🎭

🎭 Today, some of our PYT students and their families headed to the Prague Fringe Festival to see Don Quixote by Skottes Musikteater as part of our latest PYT theatre trip.

One of the things we value most about theatre trips is the chance to experience different styles of performance and storytelling. Fringe theatre is all about creativity, new ideas and seeing something a little different – and it always gives us plenty to talk about afterwards.

A big thank you to the Prague Fringe Festival for continuing to bring such a diverse programme of international work to Prague each year. It is a fantastic opportunity to experience live theatre from around the world right here in the city.

We love Fridays because it means PYT is tomorrow! 🎉

Last week, some of our students got to try on their costumes for the very first time - always one of the most exciting moments of the rehearsal process, when the characters and stories really start coming to life.

With rehearsals building momentum and tickets selling fast, show week is starting to feel very real! 😬🤩

As their stories unfold simultaneously, past and present blur, revealing the lasting impact of loss and the struggle to break inherited patterns.

⏳ Bold, moving and thought-provoking, Anatomy of a Su***de asks whether cycles of pain can ever be escaped - and what it means to survive, connect and move forward.

Performed by a talented cast of young actors, this is a striking and emotionally rich production to close our 2026 season.

💘 Love gets remixed in this high-energy take on Shakespeare’s famous comedy. When four young lovers escape into a magical forest, a mischievous fairy’s unreliable love potion throws everything into chaos - and suddenly everyone’s in love with the wrong person.

🎶 With a 90s-inspired twist, a group of wildly enthusiastic amateur actors, and a fair amount of magical mischief, this is a fast-paced, funny and visually inventive production where confusion reigns… until (almost) everything is put right.
