In The Fiddler's Symphony of Autumn, Kirill Postovit draws upon the rich imagery of Jewish cultural memory, transforming the timeless figure of the fiddler into a vibrant symbol of spirit, resilience, and celebration.

Deep cobalt blues evoke the mystery of a warm autumn night, while brilliant reds and golden accents give the composition its rhythm and emotional warmth. The violin becomes the heart of the painting: a voice connecting past and present, melancholy and joy, memory and hope.

The Dream of Adam is a unique bronze sculpture created by Kirill Postovit in 1995 (bronze cast in 2017). The artwork is currently on display at the Katie Feygie Art Gallery as part of our September Art Collection. The Dream of Adam is a philosophical sculpture exploring the moment when consciousness is born - when external reality and the inner world have not yet become separate. Its geometric forms create a sense of movement and unfolding space. The work invites the viewer to reflect on the nature of creation, the awakening of thought, and the fragile balance between the material and the spiritual. Rather than illustrating a biblical story, it offers a contemporary meditation on the human condition, freedom, and our desire for knowledge. The artist hand-signed it, and it was included in his 2019 monograph. The sculpture measures 59 cm tall, including the base. Only three bronze casts are planned; among them one is intended for a museum collection. The first bronze casting was produced in 2017, and since then the work has been presented at all of the artist’s major exhibitions, both in the Czech Republic and internationally. This makes the sculpture a highly collectible and significant work of art.

Kirill Postovit's solo exhibition "Lecha Dodi" will be ceremonially opened at Tehelna Gallery in Zvolen (Slovakia), on the 9th of September. Partially curated by the Katie Feygie Art Gallery, the exhibition is part of Holocaust Remembrance Day. The curated selection of artworks is dedicated to celebrating Jewish traditions, special moments, and holidays. The exhibition list is available to view online. Among the selected works will be paintings, drawings, artistic studies, and hand-finished limited-edition lithographs. On the 8th and 9th of September, a special Jewish Art Collection will be presented at the Katie Feygie Art Gallery as well.

Kirill Postovit's works take us to the atmosphere of small Jewish towns, their narrow streets, houses, and everyday life. They capture the peace and special charm of Shabbat, moments of silence, family reunion, and spiritual closeness. Through nostalgic motifs, traditions, and symbols, Kirill Postovit creates a surrealistic poetic world full of memory, faith, and love.

Under The Shabbat Moon (80 x 60 cm) is the most recent unique painting created by Kirill Postovit in 2026 and is currently on display at the Katie Feygie Art Gallery as part of our August/September Art Collection.

In this vibrant celebration of Shabbat, Kirill Postovit transforms familiar Jewish tradition into a dreamlike scene of love, warmth, and remembrance. Beneath the crescent moon, a couple leans tenderly toward one another as the Shabbat candles illuminate the table. Rich blues and glowing golds are the two key colors in Kirill Postovit's body of work. Here they create an atmosphere suspended between the earthly and the spiritual.
In Postovit's expressive surrealistic world, Shabbat becomes a moment outside of ordinary time, a sanctuary of light, love, and belonging.

The artwork is hand-signed by the artist, comes with an authenticity certificate issued by the gallery, and is set to be published in the third anniversary edition of The Edges of Art Monograph Book coming this Summer.
