The album “Sombras” by the Czech artist and composer Marta Topferova recently won the “Best album” in the Latin American music category of the Indie Acoustic Awards. Töpferová is known for her deep connection to Latin American musical traditions, drawing inspiration from genres such as Argentine folk, Mexican son, and others. Singing primarily in Spanish, Töpferová has earned recognition for her ability to interpret traditional songs as well as for her original compositions.
