Představujeme vám polskou umělkyni NeSpoon (NeSpoon), která nyní svým krajkovým motivem vytváří nový mural na Kostnickém náměstí na Praze 3.
NeSpoon ve své tvorbě dlouhodobě zkoumá vztah mezi kulturním dědictvím a současným městským prostorem. Před vznikem každého muralu se věnuje výzkumu místních krajkářských tradic. Autentické vzory vyhledává v muzeích, archivech a soukromých sbírkách a čerpá také z rozhovorů s řemeslníky a historiky. Ornamenty, které v sobě uchovávají znalosti, paměť a řemeslnou zručnost celých generací, následně převádí do monumentálního měřítka.
Proměnou jemných krajkových vzorů ve velkoformátové malby přenáší NeSpoon tradiční textilní dědictví přímo do ulic. Vytváří tak dialog mezi minulostí a současností a zároveň upozorňuje na vztah mezi lidmi, architekturou, přírodou a kulturou.

Introducing Polish artist NeSpoon, who is currently creating a new mural with her signature lace motif at Kostnické Square in Prague 3.
In her work, NeSpoon has long explored the relationship between cultural heritage and contemporary urban space. Before creating each mural, she researches local lacemaking traditions, searching for authentic patterns in museums, archives, and private collections, as well as drawing from conversations with artisans and historians. She then translates these ornaments—which preserve the knowledge, memory, and craftsmanship of entire generations—onto a monumental scale.
By transforming delicate lace patterns into large-scale paintings, NeSpoon brings traditional textile heritage directly into the streets. In doing so, she creates a dialogue between past and present while drawing attention to the relationship between people, architecture, nature, and culture.
