Altars Ablaze felt like an underdog at Prague Death Mass, with their Blackened-Death infused performance. After setting the mood with a prolonged intro in Czech, fronter Michal entered the stage and captivated the crowd like a general, who energized his officers to absolute rage. Fast and relentless, the focus switched from drums, to singer, to guitars and back again and shook the whole concert hall. Witness the full gig on the Undergroundedtube!

For HILD, it was supposedly the first fight outside Scandinavia and they chose Prague Death Mass for their battleground. The Blackened-Thrash band presented an impressive set from their albums "ValFreiya" and "Thrash På Svenska" and stomped the crowd into the ground! undergrounded have been with us since Prague Death Mass IV that took place back in 2023. This year again, they have documented a few performances, on multiple cameras.

Thanks to their time, energy and dedication, you can watch Saturnalia Temple's set at PRAGUE DEATH MASS V., in case you missed it or you want to re-live it.

At Prague Death Mass 2025, Saturnalia Temple delivered a set that felt more like a ceremony than a concert. Inside the dark halls of the Křižík Pavilions, their slow, ritualistic riffs and droning chants wrapped the crowd in a trance-like haze, supported by exzessive lights and covered in a blanket of smoke. Minimalistic, but powerful and spiritually charged, the performance stood out as one of the festival’s most immersive moments - a brooding invocation that lingered long after the final dissonant note. If you are still considering getting your t-shirt(s) from the PRAGUE DEATH MASS V. edition, place your order by tomorrow. We won't be doing any more re-prints after that.

PRAGUE DEATH MASS has always been about special bands delivering special performances.

It was a great pleasure to work with Vemod and Prague Planetarium on creating something truly special for PRAGUE DEATH MASS V.

And since the idea first emerged, we knew that Vemod and Prague Planetarium would be a perfect match. Yet when it happened, it went beyond the expectations.

And again, we want to thank Vemod not only for daring to try this out, but also for performing some of their songs live for the first time, making it even more special. And for having done two different sets for PRAGUE DEATH MASS V.

Credits to Tom Corn for making Vemod a part of the Prague Death Mass journey and for the PLANETARIUM DEATH MASS idea.

Almost two weeks have passed since Prague Death Mass, and we have had some time to reflect on the experience. Performing our music - even a couple of pieces we have never performed before - in Prague Planetarium was certainly a highlight in our entire existence as a live band. It was without a doubt a tremendous joy and honour for us, and we have nothing but gratitude and the deepest respect to the PDM team for believing in us, bringing us there and letting us be part of this incredible event. We truly appreciate every single one of you who came to witness this cosmic journey, and all of the kind and encouraging messages afterwards. Our eternal thanks. Ad astra!

These photos may offer a glimpse into the one-of-the-kind performances by Vemod and Mysticum, but won't convey the full essence of what was actually experienced on that night.

As promised, we're going to re-print this year's t-shirts for those of you who did not manage to get yours before they sold out.

From November 6 to November 20, you can pre-order t-shirts for this year’s Prague Death Mass edition. Those will be produced and shipped after November 20, once we know the numbers and sizes.

You can also buy leftover t-shirts or hoodies from the 2023 edition. Stock of those is limited and they won’t be reprinted.

PRAGUE DEATH MASS V. - THANK YOU.

Five nights of darkness, chaos and devotion are behind us.

To all who travelled from near and far - thank you for keeping the black flame alive and making this gathering what it was.

Gratitude and appreciation to every band that summoned their art with full force.

Massive respect to our production team, technical crew, merch and bar teams. All of these carried this beast through. And thanks to the venues - Futurum, Krizik Pavilions and Prague Planetarium - for hosting the events.

Last but not least, hails to the photographers, media partners and everyone behind the scenes who made it possible.
