💸Let’s talk about money💸
I am quite often witnessing questioning my prices. I am also witnessing quite a pay gap between men and women even in this freedom field like tattooing is supposed to be. I am quite surprised and pi**ed. I am experiencing haggling over the prices i give. Something like “the tattoo is not big enough for this money” or “elsewhere I can get this cheaper” and so on. But I am the only person knowing how much work I have to do (there’s a lot of work to do with my color style for instance) and the prices I give are actually fair and pretty nice even.
I kindly ask you to not question the price. Just take it as it is as you go to any other shop and pay the price you see on a tag. I can always work with your budget, that was already said several times. I am super open to it 🧡🙌🏻 But please don’t ask for smaller price because you think it’s not worth the one I give you. I guess you shouldn’t get a tattoo by a tattooer you don’t respect in this.
I’ve noticed this is quite more often happening to women in this industry. Please, all the woman (and others) in tattooing, let’s ask for the real prices we deserve. There is a lot of work hidden behind the tattoo which nobody sees. Hours of drawing, social media, expenses like buying material, devices, insurance, rents, travelling, accomodation and paying percentages etc. Let’s talk about it and let’s not accept less, bacause we think it’s “enough”.
A lot of us already have a side job to survive. Please dear customers, if you want a tattoo, save enough money so you can actually pay the right amount, because you pay for quality work, service and care. We all do it with love and we put full energy into it, so we’ll aprreciate if you put that energy too💰🙏🏼
Thanks for reading this 🧡
With love and respect, Moruse🙌🏻
