Concertino Praga Mezinárodní rozhlasová soutěž pro mladé hudebníky/International Radio Competition for Young Musicians Soutěžící posuzuje mezinárodní odborná porota ve 2 kolech.

Concertino Praga - Dvořákova rozhlasová mezinárodní soutěž pro mladé hudebníky, se koná od roku 1966. Jedná se o víceoborovou soutěž, jejímž posláním je vyhledávat mimořádné talenty do 16, 18, resp. 21 let. Soutěže se mohou zúčastnit v sólové kategorii nástrojové obory housle, violoncello, klavír, cembalo, harfa, akordeon, flétna, hoboj, klarinet, saxofon, fagot, lesní roh, trubka a trombon, v ko

morní kategorii pak uskupení od duí po sexteta. V prvním kole porota hodnotí soutěžící anonymně na základě zaslaných nahrávek. Druhé kolo je veřejné a má formát koncertu, který proběhne v rámci mezinárodního hudebního festivalu Dvořákova Praha 2023 v Rudolfinu (sólová kategorie) a v Anežském klášteře (komorní kategorie). Pořadatelem je Český rozhlas společně s Akademií klasické hudby. Přihlášky je možno posílat do 31. března 2023. Více informací na https://concertino.rozhlas.cz/.

Concertino Praga - Antonín Dvořák International Radio Competition for Young Musicians, has been held since 1966. It is a multidisciplinary competition whose mission is to find exceptional talents up to 16, 18 or 21 years of age. The competition is open to violin, cello, piano, harpsichord, harp, accordion, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, horn, trumpet and trombone in the solo category, and to ensembles ranging from duos to sextets in the chamber category. The competitors are judged by an international jury over the course of two rounds. The first round is completely anonymous and based on the evaluation of the competitors’ recordings. The second round takes the form of a public concert held at the Rudolfinum (solo category) and and in the Convent of St. Agnes (chamber category) during the 2023 Dvořák Prague International Music Festival. The competition is organised by Czech Radio and the Academy of Classical Music. The application deadline is March 31, 2023. For more information, go to https://concertino.czechradio.eu/.

Quite a lot, as it turns out! Among the Concertino Praga 2026 finalists, you’ll find keen cooks, athletes and even taekwondo medallists. One of them also plays the duduk, a traditional Armenian instrument. 🥋🍳🎶
