We headed to Pelhřimov to support our multidisciplinary Bid4Auction artist Lucie Vobr, whose sculptures are part of the amazing Umění nás spojuje project.
And what a good decision that was.
A guided tour, incredible artists, great conversations — and some real talk about why art belongs outside the gallery, too.
In the streets.
In the parks.
In the middle of everyday life.
No white cube.
No velvet ropes.
And yes… you can actually touch the sculptures. 😉
That’s what I loved about this project.
You don’t have to decide to “go see art.”
You can just be walking somewhere — and suddenly, art gets in your way.
It makes you stop.
Look twice.
Ask questions.
Start a conversation.
One really cool idea: art connects people.
And Lucie — thank you for putting yourself out there, applying, getting your work into spaces like this and simply being part of the scene. ❤️
