"The Last Cup"
Acrylic on hardboard, 50х35 cm.

The scene is drawn from my evening observations in a tavern in Lisbon, where time seemed to slow down and simple presence became enough. This work is about pause, age, inner dialogue, and the quiet warmth of being together.

"Between Us"
Acrylic on hardboard, 70х50 см.

I painted this moment as a quiet pause between two people who are close, yet distant. They sit side by side, turned inward, while the dog rests at their feet—calm, loyal, and untroubled by human silence. For me, the dog becomes the emotional center of the scene, holding the warmth that the figures cannot share.
This work is about unspoken feelings, fatigue, and the fragile stillness that settles after words are no longer enough.

"Morning street-1"
Acrilic on canvas, 75x55 cm.

I painted this street the way it felt, not the way it looked.
It was early morning, when the city is still half-asleep and the light moves faster than people do.

The trees stretched their shadows like long thoughts across the pavement, and the buildings warmed up slowly, holding yesterday’s stories in their walls. I worked with thick strokes because memory is never smooth—colors overlap, edges blur, and silence has weight.

This painting is my pause between footsteps, a moment when time stood still long enough for me to listen.

Tuscan landscape 1.
Аcrylic on canvas 75x55 cm.

In this painting, I wanted to reduce the landscape to its essential rhythms of color and form. The motif is inspired by a town in Tuscany, Italy, though it is not meant to represent a specific place. Houses, hills, and trees come together as a quiet harmony shaped by memory and atmosphere rather than detail.

I worked with broad, textured brushstrokes and layered blocks of color, allowing the composition to feel both structured and alive. Instead of realism, I focused on balance — between warm and cool tones, solidity and openness.

This painting reflects stillness, belonging, and the timeless character of the Tuscan landscape.

"Evening street" — acrylic on canvas 75x55 cm.

In this painting I focused on transforming the city street into an emotional image rather than a literal place. The composition is built on the contrast between cool, saturated blues and the warm, glowing light that cuts through the space, creating depth and movement. Long shadows stretch across the street, turning the ground into an active, rhythmic surface.

I worked with thick, impasto brushstrokes, allowing the texture of the paint to remain visible and expressive. Forms are simplified and slightly abstracted so that color and light carry the mood.

Through this approach, the street becomes a quiet, introspective space — less a location, and more a state of feeling shaped by light, color, and gesture.

Acrylic on canvas 75x55 cm.

In this painting I wasn’t trying to capture the scene exactly, but the feeling of light, color, and stillness between the houses. Working with expressive, impasto brushstrokes, I let the colors lead the composition, turning the city into a space of memory, calm, and inner pause.

I’ve been living in the Czech Republic for many years, but I had never even heard of the town of Kadaň until I was recently asked to paint it. As I began working on this piece, I discovered a beautiful place full of color, history, and atmosphere.

The warm rooftops, the bright facades, and the surrounding hills all came together in a scene that felt both peaceful and full of life. It’s fascinating how art can lead you to places you might otherwise never notice — and make you appreciate them in a whole new way.

Jerusalem in the Early Morning’ — my new acrylic on canvas, 100×50 cm.

In this painting I wanted to capture the quiet, dreamy atmosphere of Jerusalem at daybreak. Soft pastels of pink, lavender, and blue blend into one another, reflecting the first cool morning light over the clustered stone buildings.

The cityscape appears almost weightless, bathed in a misty glow, with recognizable domes and towers emerging gently from the haze.

This piece is about stillness, warmth, and the poetic harmony of colors that fill Jerusalem before the day begins.
